Talkin' with Saber, and we decided it's going go in that big-ass field where Talus used to be, pretty much halfway between Skyforge and Fiore. Still very accessible, but it won't be the first thing visitors see when they come to town. Probably some people from Fiore will help, it'll be the KoE Colosseum. Get some inter-town cooperation on the go.

I would like it to be pleasing to the eye and impressive, not just a big cobble pit. I'm willing to take the time to make it something special, it's the project I'm most interesting in right now.

That sounds like a great idea capn! however, it would be nice with a railroad to Fiore and to the KoE Collosseum to make it more accessible even though its out in the wild.

Yeah, we'll definitely have to plan the railroad with the arena in mind. Perhaps the rail from Fiore to Skyforge should go by the arena.

Amgroma told me yesterday that Fiore was thinking of using at least some of that space for plots, so we'll probably have to relocate it. I'll talk with Saber and get some land set aside.

Ok, I got some updates about SkyForge railways. Now I have made a station for departure and one for arrivals. The departure one has an area with boosters (not currently enabled due to boosters being illegal), a button for making the boosters send you and your cart away when you want to go, and a level to decide between two different rails for destination to go.

I have made a tunnel leading out from the stations that meet so currently there are two tracks going in the direction to Fiore (one to SkyForge and one to Fiore) and one small piece of track going north incase we want to make a railway in that direction. In the direction to Fiore I have dug a tunnel about halfway (about 270 blocks left till center to Fiore) and laid rails quite far. Since normal boosters are not allowed the railroad wont be functional untill atleast craftbook comes out. However, its rumored that craftbook isnt very far away so I think getting the railroad ready would be very practical. Besides, its very cool :icon_mrgreen: Anyway, it would be great if more people could help me dig to Fiore (5 wide, 3 tall tunnel) and lay tracks, since it will go very quick if we are more than one. (also minecart tracks use a lot of iron. I have already used about 3 stacks of iron :icon_eek: I guess the complete railroad to Fiore will require about 12 stacks in total. So if people have some iron to spare it would be nice. (btw, dont donate your last iron, keep atleast half a stack for iron picks to mine gold)

I've got some iron, I'll make some tracks and put them in a LWC chest down there. I've a mind to get to some diggin' myself, as well!

There's one really big factor still undecided about the ground level. @ Leaders, do you want plots there? If yes, then I can certainly start planning and setting them up and roading. If not, then there's not much to do before things get built.

We should definitely have some plots on ground level, maybe just smaller ones to start unless someone has a big idea they need space for.

Hey there. SkyForge currently has rings on R=100. Not sure what we are supposed to have though. We are currently a [city] and in a [kingdom], so according to the Herocraft post on the Minecraft forums we should have R=150 (city gives 100 and being in a kingdom adds 50).

Everyone, I have started fixing a bit on ground level. Have made a bigger and deeper lake and made the railway go in a glass tunnel at the bottom of it. Have also made a small square by the casino and marked a couple of noble plots. Took some pictures to show:

thanks a lot. Actually we dont really need much supplies. Only things we need more of are smoothstone half steps and iron. However, we are pretty proficient at getting stuff ourselves. Rather work on building Silverwyns railway to Fiore and help pushing the people in Fiore to complete their stations. If you need help making a "boosterless" station (aka allowed on server, I think) with redstone logic to make buttons and destination chooser just let me know and I'll help you out. Im very interested in developing the whole of KoE and getting it more connected.

anyway, a small update on lower SkyForge:

old treefarm gone, now medium noble plots. (noble means here that they are special and not to be given to citizens for free, (imo all citizens should have a normal floating plot), these plots can be awarded to citizens that pay a little sum and have a good idea for what to build there to make sure all the plots have something really cool on them, not necessary super giant plots, but due to their placement and limitedness noble plots are a suiteable name) Im planning on expanding the areas with noble plots and also to start building an "estate/mansion" for the mayor to live in. (whether that will be Capn or someone else)

I actually have tonnes of Smooth Stone that I can give you that would be FREE of charge! :D (I have around 7 Stacks of the stuff).

Anyway, I have seen some of your Rail Stations and it looks cool. ;)

I hope the towns in KOE can be connected a lot more! :) Especially Silverwym as it has not got a very good transport system (Literally, it is a ghost town there, I reckon' due to bad public awareness and accessablilty).

Firstly Im thinking of making a sound block song some where in the town any suggestions where?
Or what you want it to be?
I already have a suggestion from Soup to make the tetris theme song. Also thanks Diavolo for the work on the railway , you've done a great job I wish i had helped more.

hey im silentstormer and id like to join skyforge, your city is simply gorgeous and has huge potential to rule herocraft. id like to join becaus, im really good at diamond mining and id like to contribute to the town, i love Pvp and I would be a great addition to your town's force. ive tried finding people on the server, but theres no person on to add me to the town. hope to see you on the server, Ill just be wandering around the city aimlessly until i get in. thanks again

Hey SilentStormer :) Nice to hear you like our city, we like it too! There are often people on, but I guess you were just unlucky. However, you need to talk to Capn_Danger, since he is the one who can give you permissions to the town. (anti grief system so only citizens can change things within the towns borders)

oh btw, to easier know if there are SkyForge people on join /ch sf thats our channel and if SkyForge citizens are on but not currently in SkyForge you will find them there. Most of us have autojoin on that channel.
