Just to point out, some of us work more on the weekends because of school. ._.
I played when dragon released. From experience, you don't really need to go on the first day of the map. Nothing really gets done and it's pretty chaotic. It's fun though :D

Took me a while to figure out how to GET OUT of spawn. Didn't see the pressure plates at first.

Remember folks the newbie protection will be in effect at the start of the server and I'm sure Kainzo wil have the newbie island up and running as well for us all too test out.

So unless there are gank sqauds waiting for you at the other side of the exit portal/gate/whatever the start of this map will in my opinion be a totally different experience.

A while ago @c12095 and I were talking to @Kainzo about this, thinking that for the first day or something, the PvP thing should be turned off, since you won't be very capable of fending off potential thieves - You can't stop them from following you. Don't remember what Kain decided, but I remember this taking place.

While turning it off is all well and good for those of us all familier with how HC server rules works, if there is an intention for new players to join us for the start of this new world, then I feel it would be in @Kainzo best interests to leave it on and let us duke it out in the wilderness.

How can newly spawned people get camped in spawn when they are below lvl 10?

The difference if he releases it in a European night (Like 10pm), people in US would have the chance to play from 4 PM (EST) and troughout the night. Europeans gets a few hours, but it's still better then nothing. When it's launched like 5PM (Central), most europeans are in the middle of sleeping. So americans gets a huge avdantage (6-10 hours, yes I sleep to Noon on Saturdays). They get a huge advantagr when making townships, getting titles, getting levels and getting gear.

The only good thing for me and other europeans is that there is barely world-pvp 2PM - 8PM (GMT +1) So we got a lot of time to build without people camping us.

Most of the playerbase is in US, so it doesn't really matter. There is like 10-20 people on after school for me and when Haxnn/other Americans/canadians log on after school it's more like 80. Damn you timezones xD

I think he was undecicded about it but seemed to be leaning more toward keeping it on still. I'm not 100% however.

It will be too relaxed first day :/ I remembered the frantic rush it took to get out of spawn because greek had a stone sword and was killing everyone...

That's a good thing and a bad one, the Dragongarde early map struggles outside spawn were pretty fun but being camped drove away quite a few newcomers

I thought it was changed so that people under level 10 could not be killed. Did I read that information wrong? If so the newbies just starting out would be safe.

The pvp immunity is still in effect. Some of the above posts were stating times before the pvp immunity.

Is the server usually full on the first day? Also It should be ok this time no Pvp under lvl 10.
