So purple or magenta then. I don't know. I'm having trouble imagining which color combo would look better. Maybe white would be the better idea. Save the purple/magenta for hellgate or something?

The purple/magenta thing reminds me that we actually have two different 'greens' and three different 'blues' if we need the change those around a little to avoid a certain color being overused.

Edit for an edit: Could use lime main, green (dark) fade for poison. Or perhaps one of the greens and one of the purples in one combination or another.

Scycor - Small Burst or Star burst for runeblade blades?

Edited Force Push and Pull to Cyan instead of blue.

Added lime to the Fade of Divine Stun. (Pallys are looking FABBBULLLOUUUSSS!)

Poison is Green To Purple to represent an infected bruise/wound.

Also changed some to Ball explosions, as I realized Burst is another type that is achieved with a feather lol.

Alright... here's what we can do.

1) we can have the effects color-coded (mixed) for what the skill DOES like Healing could be Pink .....
2) we can have the effects color-coded by CLASS.

I think for RPG effects, color-coded by the effect is better rather than class
So all "DECAY/DEATH" abilities would be Black/Dark Gray.

Effect Colors:
Poison -> Olive/Lime green
Healing -> Pink/White
Lightning -> Yellow/White
Ice -> Blue/Navy/Aqua
Fire -> Red/Orange/Black
Scan -> Purple
Drains -> Green/Purple

Type of Fireworks:
Ball (Basic effects - very small)
Large_Ball (Hard hitting effects/important ones)
Burst (medium effects)
Creeper (Special effects)
Star (Special effects)

So all together this is how we would category skills in the code:
Skill name | Type | Colors
Smite | Ball | Silver/Blue
Harmtouch | LargeBall | Red/Black

Here's all the colors possible in the code
aqua
black
blue
fuchisa
gray
green
lime
maroon
navy
olive
orange
purple
red
silver
teal
white
yellow

I'll work with your template and edit the first post then. I agree with color coding by the effect, it makes a lot more sense (Death Magic shouldnt be red, lol)

But what kind of damage would Divine Stun be? A holy attack? So yellow?

Edit - Rodger that, Working on it.

I know it makes sense for smoke to get firework effects and it'd be somewhat cool, but please don't add them as smoke really needs to be used as a sneaky thing and a blatant announcement to enemies that you just smoked is kinda lame imo.

What about skills like disgrace that do bleed damage, they should have a red burst effect.

I suppose that template will work. It will simplify things anyway. I would still like to see some of the previously suggested colors for the more unique skills such as teleports, force push/pull, and tremor/root, though.

This would be more of a problem for immotile skills like Fade or Camouflage. When you smoke, you can run away, fireworks don't tell the person which way you ran.

I'm working on conversting the list and adding AE skills to the list. Suggestions are welcome.

Kainzo - Will AE happen once centered on the target that uses the skill, or per person hit?

Would it be possible to have something toggle-able so if you are for say following a potential kill and scan them they would be alerted someone is there because of the firework.
