Why We Shouldnt Use "The Silent Community's Say"

Just like a vocal minority, there's a silent majority.
People who LIKE these changes have NO reason to come here and say "These changes are great!"
People who DISlike these changes have ALL the reason to come here and say "These changes are terrible!"

The former feel no real reason to come here and defend it whereas the latter look for any excuse possible to attack it.
What I"m saying with this thread is that people say polls would be inaccurate due to the silent community and that's dumb add imho

Lol Kainzo has said new content always brings new players, but they don't stay. @devotedworker towns 3.0 and mythic mobs haven't brought many new people to the server at all. If you want a good example of this look at shaman, many people were on waiting for its release but shortly after they left. Sure towns 3.0 hasn't been out for very long and there are only a few towns, but look at map wipes, people have everything needed for towns within a day or two, and this isn't even a fresh map. That is pathetic and right there clearly shows you something.

@MCderpy12 if multi was really working to help the community he would take input from both sides instead of his little "#cryhards" crap. PVP hasn't been pushing new people away at all, because most of them spend their first few times on the server in PVE anyway.

@Xhazed hell yea! That 100 dmg ninja was fun in DM :( . Idk why simple things that people enjoyed like lotto and DM were removed, they gave us something to do when we were bored.

Before Townships 3.0 it was half as popular as it is now. So either townships are bringing people in or the Mythic mobs. So... yah
#LogicalArguement :D
Holy shit. I saw 14 players on it last night. So there were 7 people before the update?
HC IS GOING PLACES BOIS!

I just saw this and would like to point something out, though I expect it to be ignored by the most anyway.
I think those who complain should go and create a massive suggestion thread here: http://herocraftonline.com/main/forums/suggestions.8/ and address all the changes you don't like and things you still see missing.
It doesn't help to just complain and cry about the updates and changes. Give Kainzo a list of things that you would like to see changed, that's the way to go. As his playerbase he will respect your suggestions and try to find a solution to make it a good experience for everyone.
But creating more and more threads like this, where you just complain about things that you don't like and hate on every change is the wrong way. Put it into the suggestion forum, let the OP handle the list in the main post, write everything you want to see changed below. Be constructive and you will get good results in exchange.
Examples of how to do it:
http://herocraftonline.com/main/threads/mythic-mobs-suggestions.55443/#post-436507
http://herocraftonline.com/main/threads/townships-3-0.55461/page-2#post-436733
Give him a list he can work with. Splitting complains and opinions into thousands of threads doesn't bring it. Also he said that he is working on a patch that should change a lot of things back to a former state (I cannot tell which changes he means specifically, but you should know it better than me I guess). Alone this move from his side proves that he actually realizes, that you don't like most of the changes and he is willing to undo some of them. You could help him with that by giving him proper suggestions with more details.

The lack of coders is obvious, so of course you should expect a delay regarding promised additions like the Samurai's comeback.
It doesn't make it easier, when you have a bunch of people hammering on you, telling you that everything you do is bad. Use your opinions to give useful feedback. And don't come at me saying they are constructive, come on, did you guys actually read through the threads? Kainzo is simply trying to create a good balance for PvE and/or PvP focused players, while respecting the difficulties for newcomers of HC. Keep the whole picture in mind, and don't just focus on what you want to see alone, because then your opinion will very likely be ignored.
Additionally, the bad behavior keeps new players away too, so I think you should start to realize that this might also be a factor, why there aren't so many players to PvP with. (Expecting your hater reply already)

You are actually able to help with this server's development here. This is a great opportunity, which you don't get in other games you regularly play (I assume). So if you have something to address, I suggest you should start doing so, the right way.
Suggestions make no difference. The damage has already been done. And plus the amount of work I see get done, it won't happen.

Tired of arguing with people who don't know how a proper debate works. Until someone makes a constructive suggestion then I guess I'm out of this.

Can't really debate something that you are absolutely wrong about. The player base says it all.

IN MY OPINION
there isn't a point in trying to bring back the old playerbase. I think Herocraft needs to focus on getting new players, and implementing systems to acquire these new players, and keep them in. Herocraft will never be like it was back in the day. We need to accept that and move on. If you don't like Herocraft how it is right now, don't play. I personally do not support the changes that are being added, but I understand why people like them. If this is going to bring new players to the server, then I'm all for it. Maybe in the future if things tilt back towards the PvP community, I'll be more than happy to play. But for now, Herocraft's playerbase, while small, is mainly coming from PvE, so why not focus on that and build towards it.

PvPers: Don't expect and drastic changes for us, if you don't like the server, don't play it.
