Why We Shouldnt Use "The Silent Community's Say"

I give my argument and provide evidence to why I have said stance. If you disagree with me thats fine, but at least explain why...

I don't know why people are attacking me of all people. I'm very moderate about the situation. While I do like somethings of Township 3.0 I also have plenty of problems with it and yet people think I'm multi's fanboy.
The player base says otherwise. Please tell me how many are on right now?

What are you refering to? My initial post is that basing changes on popularity is bad, because they are inherently skewed. Furthermore, basing anything solely on popularity is bad in itself, because something that everyone wants isn't always the best solution.

Before Townships 3.0 it was half as popular as it is now. So either townships are bringing people in or the Mythic mobs. So... yah
#LogicalArguement :D

I'd say this is coming from an increase in voting and server advertising. Plus this recent influx of players is of better quality than the usual lost souls.

I'd definely not say that mythic mobs nor townies is having a big influence on player retention because, very few are in township 3.0 (Thanks @MCderpy12 for the 2-3 that are in your town) and most are solo or on pve where townships 3.0 is not implemented.

And not mythic mobs because people are definety not approaching them well, you can see this from all the negative backlash both in game and on the forums.

So while there are new players on the server (albeit not enough) I would not attribute it to 3.0 or mythic mobs and just on general circumstances

It may look like it but what i am trying to say is to remove all this complicated shit and make it simple lewl i dont care about bastion i just want simplicity and pvp
When I stop playing, it means it's pretty bad.

Back to playing COD

I just saw this and would like to point something out, though I expect it to be ignored by the most anyway.
I think those who complain should go and create a massive suggestion thread here: http://herocraftonline.com/main/forums/suggestions.8/ and address all the changes you don't like and things you still see missing.
It doesn't help to just complain and cry about the updates and changes. Give Kainzo a list of things that you would like to see changed, that's the way to go. As his playerbase he will respect your suggestions and try to find a solution to make it a good experience for everyone.
But creating more and more threads like this, where you just complain about things that you don't like and hate on every change is the wrong way. Put it into the suggestion forum, let the OP handle the list in the main post, write everything you want to see changed below. Be constructive and you will get good results in exchange.
Examples of how to do it:
http://herocraftonline.com/main/threads/mythic-mobs-suggestions.55443/#post-436507
http://herocraftonline.com/main/threads/townships-3-0.55461/page-2#post-436733
Give him a list he can work with. Splitting complains and opinions into thousands of threads doesn't bring it. Also he said that he is working on a patch that should change a lot of things back to a former state (I cannot tell which changes he means specifically, but you should know it better than me I guess). Alone this move from his side proves that he actually realizes, that you don't like most of the changes and he is willing to undo some of them. You could help him with that by giving him proper suggestions with more details.

The lack of coders is obvious, so of course you should expect a delay regarding promised additions like the Samurai's comeback.
It doesn't make it easier, when you have a bunch of people hammering on you, telling you that everything you do is bad. Use your opinions to give useful feedback. And don't come at me saying they are constructive, come on, did you guys actually read through the threads? Kainzo is simply trying to create a good balance for PvE and/or PvP focused players, while respecting the difficulties for newcomers of HC. Keep the whole picture in mind, and don't just focus on what you want to see alone, because then your opinion will very likely be ignored.
Additionally, the bad behavior keeps new players away too, so I think you should start to realize that this might also be a factor, why there aren't so many players to PvP with. (Expecting your hater reply already)

You are actually able to help with this server's development here. This is a great opportunity, which you don't get in other games you regularly play (I assume). So if you have something to address, I suggest you should start doing so, the right way.

There are 15+ players just in the town that has the double turrets. And as I am aware there are 3+ towns.
I'm not saying that Mythic Mobs and Townships is the primary cause of the influx, but its certainly helping with Player Retention :D Though we still need to fix the Mythic mobs :_:

This is why I'm in this so-called silent community. I don't vote or anything anymore, because I'm simply tired of the same old arguments and the PVP vs. PVE "war" going on. Sigh.

Why so the thread can be locked?

Its a thread debating why people are saying "I represent the sielent Comunity" and how its an inaccurate statement. What this thread is showing is that the most radical people are more likely to post in threads about current issues.

Not necessarily the most radical, just the ones willing to wade into the crapfield that is forums discussions sometimes. Personally I would love to partake more often in forums discussions but sometimes they get so toxic and full of crap that it ruins any interest. Attempting to read through 3 pages of a thread, finding a ton of non helpful crap posts can really ruin interest.

As for the "I Speak For the Silent Ones"
Yeah, that needs to stop. If the people who left want to come back only if things go back, then they need to log on, suggest that, and provide actual reasons. Who's to say that all the people who left will come back just because the system changed back? How will they know to come back? Why are they only interested in the old and unwilling to look at the new? There's a reason these things change, people change what they want. In DG & even some of Bastion, people fell into a routine. MA (For DG) and raiding and Arenas (Bastion and in general). Changes were made that altered their routine and instead of willing to change, they raged about it, and ended up leaving.
If the 50+ people who others claim will come back, have them come back and make a post explaining their reasons.

What would the "silent community " care about if they dont even want to say something??????
They obviously care cause they still play. If they don't say anything though, it looks as if they don't care.
Some might just stay silent cause they're impartial to the changes (I am one of those).

Just like a vocal minority, there's a silent majority.
People who LIKE these changes have NO reason to come here and say "These changes are great!"
People who DISlike these changes have ALL the reason to come here and say "These changes are terrible!"

The former feel no real reason to come here and defend it whereas the latter look for any excuse possible to attack it.
