The Untitled Story

There was a small town named Allyn. A few farms, a few houses, a marketplace. That was it. The town rested on a mountain, in the region of Endinyn. The surrounding regions left them to their own devices. All except one. Arktory constantly tormented them, to the amusement it's King, Arktorious. Hence the name. King Arktorious renamed the region Arktory, to show all his power.
King Arktorious forced the townspeople to pay him taxes and other things of the kin. His soldiers kept them in line. However, one day, something happened that the King did not intend. One of the King's soldiers had been tormenting the villagers more severely than usual. One of the villagers had had enough, and killed the soldier in question. The King became furious, and in his anger he killed many of the villagers using dark magic. But the Dark Magic unleashed a much darker power into the world. Something unknown. Something Untitled.
Now the rest of the world has two powers to contend with. King Arktorious and this new rising Power.

OOC: Well. This is the story. You may choose to be one of the following:

1. A villager from Allyn.

2. One of the townspeople from an outlying regions. They are:
Westock, the river region.
Harlock, the Undercity
Tinglin, the Forest region

You must try to fight these powers, in your own way. There are foul beasts out in the world though. Be sure to come well equipped.

Talion:

Talion woke up to the sound of birds chirping at him from above. He got up and dressed himself as usual: A tunic, cloak, dagger and bow. He reserved his sword for when he knew there was going to be a confrontation. He didn't want to scare the villagers. He put his hood on, so that no soldiers would bother him if he was passing by. He really didn't want to spill blood today.
He walked out of his house, which he had built by himself, to walk the fields, admiring the morning. On the way, he spotted something rather unusual. A soldier was making a loud ruckus by a merchant's tent. Tightening his grip on his dagger, he walked over. He found that the soldier in question was waving his sword around like a mad man, yelling frantically at the merchant, who was an old grey haired man. He caught bits of the soldiers rabble.
" Twenty Souls! This is unimaginable! How dare you disgrace someone of my rank with such a price? You ought to be hanged. And I know just who can do it. The soldier raised his blade to stab the old man. But before he could land a blow, a firm hand gripped his wrist, stopping the blade.
The astonished soldier turned around to kill who had stopped him, to find himself face to face with the fiery gaze of the Ranger. He took a step back. He brandished his blade.
" Get back, you rogue. Leave me to my business. This man has offered me an unfair price for goods I rather need. He deserves hanging. Just like the rest of you lot!" The angry soldiers yelled out to the gathering crowd. He lunged at Talion, the killing blow almost finding its mark. Almost.
Talion flipped his dagger out of it's sheath, disarming the man with that one quick swipe. He pressed the blade to the man's throat.
" I'd suggest you leave now. And if you bother anyone of my townspeople again, I will personally cut out your intestines and feed them to you!" Talion said angrily, pushing the man away. The soldier ran off quickly.
"Thank…….. huh?" The old grey haired man started to say. But then he realized, the young man was gone. Talion was many meters above them by now, perched over a branch, watching his town. He would kill anyone who harmed his town. He would keep it safe. Of that he was sure.

Erokos watched from afar among the rooftops at the man known as Talion, wondering to himself who this ranger was. He stood up for someone who didn't deserve it, and Erokos didn't like it one bit. Erokos leapt from roof to roof, further spying on this Talion as he walked through the market bazaar. Nothing interested happened for a time, so Erokos left to continue his illegal deeds.

Talion:

Talion walked the streets of the city, smoking his intricately carved pipe happily. Something alerted him, though. He could feel someone watching him. He kept looking around, but there was no one. he kept a very tight grip on his dagger, in case some upstart should wish to challenge him. The day was uneventful. He managed to stop a few fights with the soldiers, and his fiery gaze seemed to scare any who wished to battle. He could feel tension in the air, as if the world was a taut thread tightening until, SNAP, everything would fall apart around him. He just wondered who would start it.

Erokos:

After he had finished smuggling some illegal weaponry to his comrades, Erokos was ambushed by some of the King's guard.
"We are not here to hurt you, but His Grace requires your assistance. He shall pay all of your bounties should you succeed," exclaimed the Guard.
Erokos grinned.
"When do I meet him?"

James:

" Twenty Souls! This is unimaginable! How dare you disgrace someone of my rank with such a price? You ought to be hanged. And I know just who can do it." A voice shouted out.
I quickly glanced to a arguement in the town square, and decided it wasn't worth the time. It probably was just another fight or skirmish. Ugh... people have gone nuts nowadays. I double checked and made sure my money pouch was still there, making sure someone didn't steal it, had that issue in the last town I went through. Maybe this town would be a bit better. I probably need to go find an inn soon.
"Hey you! 100 souls for a good iron sword!' A shop owner instantly shouted.
"No thanks!' I shouted back. "I don't buy things I don't need!"
Not like I could buy anything when I'm barely making it from town to town... and I already have a sword...
I quickly came across a decent looking inn, also looking pretty recently built...
"This will do good..." I murmered.

Erokos:

The guards and soldiers escorted Erokos to the castle, for him to face the king and hear his offer.
After some walking through corridors and hallways, the troop finally got to the throne room.
"You may have been an enemy to the throne in the past Erokos, but I will let that pass if you help me defeat another," said Arktorious.
"And whom do you speak of?" replied Erokos.
"A man by the name of Talion disrupts my reign as king and harasses my soldiers. When he is dead, my power shall grow ever more stronger and I shall let you join me in it."
"I know just where he is, count me in," mentioned Erokos.

Talion:

Talion lay in his bed, sleepy after walking the town for a whole day without rest. He started to nod off, but then he heard rustling from outside. He checked out the window, assumed it had just been a squirrel, and went back to bed. Again, the rustling, and other creepy noises. Someone was out there, and he wasn't eager to let him into the house. He grabbed his sword, and pulled a chair into the entrance room, waiting for the attacker to reveal himself.

"Enjoy your stay!"
I quickly trudged to my room, exausted. It had taken all day to find an inn, as the original one I looked at had many nasty little critters. I don't need to get sick thank you very much.
"Room 6 Remember that!" The clerk reminded me with a smile. "Good night sir!"
"Thanks! I'm too young to be a sir though!" I joked waving back. "Have a good one too!"
I quickly found my room, burst through the door, dropped my pack and sighed... My whole body ached... I need some sleep.
And I layed down I felt a shiver go down my back... something was... off... and it was nearby too...

Talion:

The attacker did not show himself for a few hours, so Talion shrugged and headed back to his room, leaving the sword with him, just in case. He sat down at his bed, only to hear the rustling again. He sighed. Whoever was doing this was going to pay dearly for interrupting his rest. He walked out onto the front lawn, sword drawn. He yelled out into the distance.
" Show yourself, coward!" He roared at the top of his lungs.

I blinked. Who in the world would be shouting that at this hour... Idiot... some of us are trying to sleep.
I quickly exited my room and found all the lights in the hallway empty... nobody else was here or awake...
It probably was just a fluke right? Nothings going to happen. Stop worrying yourself James.
Yah. I'll be fine. And I returned to bed.

Erokos:

Someone had tipped off Talion about the attack, thought Erokos. There was no way he could have noticed him here on the roof, so Erokos decided to wait until Talion slept. Waiting for hours, yet the target never shut his eyes, waiting for his assailant. Erokos left, hoping to catch him off-guard in daylight. As he was leaving, a cat jumped out of the bushes and latched onto his face.
"YEOW!"

"YEOW!" Something yelled from the top of the roof. Talion turned to see his attacker. He was taken aback from the age. He was young, that much was apparent. Talion ran up the house, using the rough wall to support himself. He was on the roof in seconds. He ripped his blade out, snarling in a very fiery rage.
" How dare you intrude on my house? Speak, youngling!" Talion yelled.

"YEOW!"
I instantly opened my eyes and glanced around... What idiot was at it now? I need to sleep... I closed my eyes and tried to ignore it.
"Meow..."
I glanced out my window and saw a lone kitten sitting up glancing up at me.
"Meow?" It asked tilting its head.
"Fine." I murmered reaching out and picking it up. "I have a soft spot for baby animals."
" How dare you intrude on my house? Speak, youngling!" A voice yelled.
Wait... that sounded like... it was nearby.... maybe I should go check it.
"Stay here." I instructed the kitten.
It meowed and crawled up my arm onto my shoulder.
"Fine." I murmered walking out of my room.

Talion:

As the youngling tried to respond, Talion heard footsteps fast approaching. Talion turned. Another young man approached them. Talion sighed. How many children was he going to have to deal with today. But first, he had to deal with this one. Talion pointed the blade to the now very frightened youngling.
"Well?!?!? Speak!" He roared in rage.

I quickly set outside, the moon was full tonight so it was dimmly lit and I was still able to get around.
I looked around looking for someone who could have been shouting...
I quickly spotted 2 figures on a roof, one holding a blade at the other...
"HEY! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" I shouted waving my arms. The kitten scrambled up onto my head and let out a soft meow.

Erokos:

The man had drawn his blade, and it was a little to close for comfort.
"I have been asked by King Arktorious to end your life. I shall spare you tonight, but you will see me again soon."
And after that, Erokos backflipped off the roof and faded into darkness.

Talion:

" Wait!" Talion yelled, but the boy was gone. Talion fell to his knees, roaring in hatred. He sheathed his blade, disgusted with himself for letting the boy live. He looked over at the other boy.
" And you?! What do you want! You a friend of that boy?!?" Talion yelled over to him, gripping his blade.

I blinked to make sure that had happened. A kid... no older than me... had backflpped off a roof and somehow survived... what the...
It has happened I am sure of it.
" And you?! What do you want! You a friend of that boy?!?" A voice interupted.
I cringed and looked up at the man staring down at me, this wasn't good. His hood looked almost as scary as the darkness that surrounded him...
"No! Sorry! I just heard you guys yelling!" I replied hoping the man didn't decide I would be the next one to be nearly killed under that blade. "I didn't mean any trouble..."
Another shiver went down my back and I don't know why...

"Hmm. Very well. I like your curiosity. Come here tomorrow. I need to speak to you." Talion said, an idea forming in his head. He liked it the more he thought about it. This would end King Arktorious's reign forever.
