I'm starting a changelog and to-do list here. Basically so I can remember what to do, what I've done and you guys can comment on it.

I'm curious about number 7. "Code a skill which allows people to change name". Does this mean what I think it does, a skill to temp change your name to be a spy? And would this name change only be in chat or above your name walking around as well, since I thought changing the name on your head was impossible currently.

Above head. I think I have a way to do it.

O.O That would be amazing for a thief or ninja. Could keep a folder of people's skin's and change your skin accordingly. Sneak into town, change name, steal / kill as that player, leave, I win =D

Issues with #7 - person changes name, uses fly hacks, get the innocent person banned... security thoughts?

I can't really seem to think of a way around that.

1. Maybe admin/mods would need to try to /tell the person before they ban them, since it would say the person isn't online if someone if pretending to be them?

2. A command for staff to tell if someone is currently using that skill?

3. This one would cause lag so it is suggested last, which would be a list that staff can see which says the names of people who have used the skill last and what they changed their name to. It would save a decent amount, maybe 100 name changes, and you could look through quick and see if someone has disguised themselves as that person.

4. I don't really think this one is doable coding wise, but could people with certain permission levels somehow NOT see the name change, and instead see the real name? Above the head, in chat, everywhere that is it changed.

Those are my quick ideas but none of them are a very good fix for the problem of getting innocent people into trouble with the skill. Anyone else got better ideas? I want this skill in but not if people are going to be pushing their bans off on others.

If somebody was caught fly hacking and had there name changed to me could you not check unique player IP/ID to see if it was me or somebody pretending to be me?

Or you could pair it with a /reveal, which returns the name to the proper one that can be used by staff and, say rangers?

Working on Damage stuff. I've finished it twice but each time it's been somewhat shit. I'm gonna rewrite it once more.

I've scrapped damage stuff (for now). Rigby (Other coder) might possibly pick it up.
Also, apologies about the crafting exp, it was a tricky thing to get right and get bug/exploit free. Thanks to all those who tested, reported exploits and ultimately made it work right. At the moment you cannot get exp while you have a full inventory, this will be corrected in a later version. But until then, I recommend you craft a chest first. I'm looking forward to coding more skills over the next few days. Enginees are gonna get a little bit of love with 2 new skills ;)
