Also still can't use the Cauldron on Test. Don't know whether they are related or not.

Going by the number of errors in each group, I reckon it's the items that are identified by the commas between the "type ID" and the "material data", ie colors of stained glass, slabs of the various wood types.

There are two in the Alchemist group (Golden Apple and Enchanted Golden Apple), 16 in Engineer (the colours of the fireworks), one in the Farmer group, and these numbers match with the numbers of errors in those groups.

You might try this:

In the Farmer group, change the code for White Wool from 35,0 to just 35 then run it again, and if the Farmer group doesn't show up, then that's where the problem might well be.

^ see above - while code is being sorted - we're just going to grant the entire item and it "should" function for all recipes.

Might be talking through my hat here but... what's this about using item names instead of id since 1.7 came in?

Ie
  • wool
  • wool.brown
However I can't find a comprehensive list that covers things like Enchanted Golden Apples etc.

Btw I won't be around much for the next 24 hours. Will be for a couple of hours in about 3 hours time, but not after that.

I'll talk to Yavool and Dsa about how they're placed to do testing etc and carry things forward.

Not possible at the moment @mung3r may be revamping the restrictions in Heroes to go through vault though.

I've realized the personal gui doesn't work either (the 2x2 one) - it's not just the crafting table.

So there's two issues here -
  • getting the code for recipe restrictions to work
  • being able to test it on Test, which at the moment doesn't seem to be working.
Getting stuff from admins/devs tends to be troublesome for me because they're often not there when I am, or they are apparently asleep :p.

@Yavool @Dsawemd I'm not going to be around for about 24 hours from now.

If the recipes get going on Test, will you kindly take it on to see whether they're working etc?

Also, when there's something to work with, please direct people to the wiki page so they can see what's planned and help with testing.

I haven't publicized it yet, but it's actually accessible now from the front page of the wiki, in the same box as the Professions.

I've tested the recipes (a few) and they work both in and out of the personal ui - make sure to be CRAFTER (for now) - lostsoul has everything to test.

I'll be on later tonight with some free time, if an admin can leave a chest in Test with the items I need to test these recipes I'll test them.

Can leave coords here, or leave it in the Giant-Dsaw's shinbone. Giant-Dsaw is diagonally straight/left as you walk out into the Desert Cliff Testing Area.

Have done partial testing and HAVE FOUND A PROBLEM.

So far the recipes that depend on MATERIAL DATA ARE NOT CRAFTABLE.

Crafter level perms but have NOT been able to craft:
  • Sandstone slab - get message You do no know how to craft step
  • Smooth sandstone - You do not know how to craft sandstone
Ones I haven't yet tested but I'm suspicious about...
  • Dyes
  • Applying dyes - to wool, glass etc
  • Lapis - both block to dust, and dust to block (Lapis dust is a dye)

I got Xani's attention to get moved back to Test when I left it, but not when I was looking for some materials to test!

For the record:

Crafter perms, and HAVE managed to craft:
  • white wool from string
  • wooden pick, axe
  • iron sword, pick, shears
  • sandstone from sand
  • bed, boat, bucket,
  • leather armor
  • chest, workbench, button

Not Crafter perms, and have not managed to craft as Crafter (so all good):
  • diamond axe, gold boots
  • redstone torch

Three groups:
  • Group 1: Ones that don't work because of the material data value not being recognized
  • Group 2: Ones I need items from an Admin to test
  • Group 3: Ones that don't work and I'm investigating why
  • Group 4: Ones I've missed!
Group 1:

Only the item responding to the base item value works:
  • Oak Wood Planks (5) works, but Birch Wood Planks (5,2) doesn't work
  • Stone Slab (44) works, but other slabs (Sandstone, Cobblestone) etc (44,1 to 5) don't work
  • Sandstone (24) works, but Smooth Sandstone (24,2) doesn't work
  • None of the dyes work - note this includes lapis dust and bonemeal.
NOTE:
  • Because I can't get planks of the other woods, I can't test the many timber products that have their own individual item codes...
  • Because I can't get the dyes, I can't test dyed wool, glass, pane glass, colored clay and so on (which are all items with a material data value anyway).

When you hover over an item after hitting (is it...?) shift F3 to see durablity and item values, it shows them as #0095/2 etc.

we just need to grant the base-item and not care about the damaged values - I've done this, for the most part. Later on we may be able to fix this.

It's not working... Only the base item works, not the rest of the group:
