Transmute Ore
ItemLevelMaterials needed
1 Diamond 20 5 Lapis Blocks
1 Diamond 30 64 coal
1 Gold Ore 40 15 Iron Ore
The cooldown bugs me the most btw, No one will want to spend 100 hours of their life transmuting iron to gold and coal to diamonds. Make it at least 40 seconds if not lower.
and Im sorry, The only purpose of this is to make diamonds and gold ore? I dont think so, Alchemists are called the "changers" on the wiki, So why can they only change 3 different materials into 2 Different materials. I Honestly think there should be more recipes;
32 Redstone = 1 glowstone dust
3 vines = 1 leather
5 melon = 1 porkchop
2 netherrack = 1 netherbrick
etc etc And also to prove a point "the changer" does not mean specifically of ores, can mean of anything.
An Alchemist has 3 main uses.
1. potion making
2.cauldron false book
3. Transmute ore.
Falsebook...
This is clearly a really widely used skill, But here is my view, While this is changing one object into another object is cool the cauldron is for complex recipes.
Like i said Cauldron is for more complicated recipes, So why not Make them a more dominant use of the alchemist. By saying you can do everything in stacks is okay, but the problem is its limited in recipes, It needs much much more, It needs a way to be able to Creat not only unobtainable blocks but also Obtainable ones, And also the 1 bucket of lava recipes are sorta nealry worthless, make it coal per 8 or something, i dont want to go mining for buckets of lava everyday.
Some recipes ar easy while others are hard, Why not make Truly insane ones? Like Say 10 netherack +10 glowstone = 1 netherwart, Or flint and steel, 10 netherack +1 stick = blaze rod. think of it as a graph, Each recipe that you have and use hs to be used in a greater recipe to be able to creat what you want.
Heres a wild idea 64 netherrack + 1 flint and steel + 10 glowstone + 2 diamonds +1 blaze rod= Fireaspect 3 sword. see its complicated to make but it pays off Or flame 1 bow , 3 blaze rods + 3 string + 64 netherrack = Flame 1 bow.
I mean the possibilities are endless but for alchemist you have to start small, then go big when you amass your "small" objects . Make people Really want to get that, Add new recipes so That people may have a way to obtain
Dont think its op to make some of those items because it really ... not. at all, to make 5 FA 3 swords would take hours of Making them out of scratch with cauldron and going through all the proccesses OR Dying many times in nether and blaze farming, Some people arlready have the mats to make some. so what? they dont have ample supplies, it will run out. Also no im not playing the class wrong I transmutsies my ironz and coal and lapizes and i make my chainsy armorz
Also This is to ALL crafter specs, They should receive EXP for what they specialize in, for merchant every time someone buys items from them they get xp (stacks in bulk) from you they get .1 xp... tho it is farmable but Mods and admins or alchemist when you Make something you get .5 exp (per item in bulk)
Or say miner, you get more exp for mining.
Hmm what about Engi is a toughie but Maybe per piston placed? it would show the "you have placed this block too recently" so it would anti farm
Enchanter... Hard one Get Extra EXP when making /placing enchantment tables.
Mason 0.1 per lift/false book created
