Theres a reason why there making all the stuff with the TV. Its because they want there console to be a entertainment system not a console. And to my knowledge the used game thing was just a rumor I'm not quite sure if it was even confirmed yet. And your last paragraph was pretty contradicting.

EDIT: Once you have your $585 base, you can upgrade at will as the money comes in one part at a time. It's very affordable, and in fact cheaper than console gaming IMO.

Yeah E3 was a trainwreck for Microsoft. The best thing they had to show was Metal Gear Solid V, which doesn't appeal to the core of the Xbox fanbase and is a multiplatform game.

Sony was guilty of showing off multiplats too, but at least they were showing what seems to be actual gameplay (I Lol'd when AssCreed 4 froze up on the poor guy). After watching the conferences it looks like Sony was the clear winner, even though they were off to a terrible start.

PS4 has playstation move built into it. Granted it's not quite as advanced as the kinect but it's still not cheap

Personally I'd go for a better motherboard & CPU ditch the graphics card and make sure you get a good on-board While it may not perform quite as well as the one you have bought it'll allow for cheaper and more efficient upgrading in the long run.

Yeah. Microsoft pretty much killed itself this time around. We'll see how they try to win people back over. If for some reason I do get a console (Bahaha, that won't happen), then it's the PS4 for me!
