Sound effects have now been added to Herocraft 4.65+
There will not be a toggle for the new sounds on skills.
Let me know if the sounds are; (Please include Skill name)

I'm looking at adding in some Note-block sounds to Bard-skills or even some other sound so players know there is a bard around.

Here's the list of Bard Skills and they're preferred notes/sounds.
Warsong: Drums Cowbell
Battlesong: Drums Triangle
MelodicBinding: Guitar + Drums
Manasong: Guitar
HealingChorus: Voice / Soothing / Flute
BoastfulBellow: Shriek / Enderman scream
DropTheBass: heavy drums
Accelerando: fast drums
Voidsong: drums
I've done all that's needed to be done.

The bard isn't really meant to be a secretive class. It may have sneak, but that doesn't mean it's secretive.

Bards almost always fight in a party, and almost all parties have bards. So if you had a bard in your party you would have no chance of ever surprising anyone because they would know where your party was the entire time.

So all the Warsong/Accelerando skill message spammings dont give away that you are nearby, but sounds do give you away?

Unneeded. I don't like the fact that the sound is that of an aggro'd mob. Maybe a different sound or no sound at all would be better.
You know how if you go to Disneyland once every 5 years it's special, but if you go every day it gets stupid? That's how the sounds are. A few is cute. Having one for every skill? That's stupid.​


Another note, the range of these sounds is RIDICULOUS. You should not be able to hear them from 100+ blocks.

these sounds are both too loud and not needed. Less is more when it comes to effects and while the concept of adding sound effects to skills is cool, adding them to every skill is not cool, especially certain skills that are sorta spammable. I was killing mobs with a few other players and it was just a mess of noise with constant skills being used.

A lot of these sounds need to go imo. If every class had one sound effect for one of their best combat skills, I could get it, but to have so many skills have sounds, its going to be problem. Team fights are going to be horrendous

The sound of smeltiron/smeltgold is very irritating. I would rather it not have a sound or at least have a less obtrusive one.

I play with my sound off :p If someone sets TNT I rely on the people in TS to warn me. Or I die, ahah. I wont be hearing these super awesome new skill sounds.

i fell off my chair laughing when i found out my voidsong is a demon screaming, and my boastfulbellow is a lion roaring XD but then it sounds like im dropping a mic on the ground when i accelerando and its driving me insane >.<
