Pyromancer is a caster class, currently the only other classes it can kill with ease are other caster's. Flameshield + kick literally build pyromancer for taking on other casters. A pyromancer against a warrior is most likely a loss.

Pyromancer Vs. Samurai. Pyromancer HP Samurai HP​

Duel starts, 20 block gap- 810 990
Pyromancer uses fireball- 810 865
Samurai uses one, reaches pyro- 810 865
Pyro uses fireblast, Firewave + blaze + kick- 810 457
Bash + Bleed + Mortal Wound + cleave- 328
Pyro's skill are on CD.
Samurai autohits and kills pyro in around 3 hits.

If pyro tries and melee's samurai can just use Disarm + bladegrasp. Also, beserk will make samurai do more melee damage than pyromancer
Pyro cannot kite because of One + it has no slows

Pyromancer Vs. Dragoon. Pyromancer Hp Dragoon HP

Duel starts, 20 block gap- 810 1030
Pyromancer uses fireball- 810 1030
Goon jumps dodges fireball.
Goon jumps at pyromancer.
Pyro uses fireblast + firewave + blaze + kick 810 688
Goon uses spear 728 688
Goon uses impale 594
Goon uses cleave 489
Pyro uses fireball + kick- 489 496
Goon uses bash 400
Goon's autohits now win the fight. 5 hits.

Pyro cannot kite because of jump + pyro has no slows

Beguiler uses mass-pigify 373 660
By now fireball + plague bomb will be of CD
Beguiler uses fireball + plague bomb -40 660

Obviously this is situational but in a duel this is pretty much inevitable.

3 Potential fights for pyromancer and all of them end badly.

Against a warrior, pyromancer can't do much as its magic damage only equals to 505 against a warrior spec that isn't enough to have a chance as a warriors armor counteract pyro's axe damage.

Against a caster, pyromancer has no slows whereas necro, wizard and beguiler all do. The only one of these a pyro can easilly win out of is a wizard as root breaks upon damage to the rooted player.

Against a rogue, pyromancer has the most chance against a rogue as pyro has spells + melee damage.

Against a healer, if pyromancer uses it's entire combo, using pray twice will bring them back up to full health.

I suggest one or multiple of these; give pyromancer slightly more HP as necro + beguiler both have more than pyro even though pyromancer has to get in close, slightly better armor (Chain armor + leather helm sounds good), higher the damage on some of pyromancer's spells or even add in more spells.

I agree, basically a samurai is a complete better version of a pyromancer, so theres no point going pyro when you can just go samurai.. stats:
Samurai HP > Pyro HP
Samurai DMG output > Pyro DMG output (Because they can stay alive longer to get more hits.. depends on who is playing the samurai really)
Samurais bow = Pyromancers fireball (just a bit worse)

I do agree that pyro needs a buff however I would just like to point out that if a goon jumps, spears and impales he has no stamina left and can't sprint, let alone use more skills.

Pyromancer needs a buff, but some of your examples are messed up.

You said ''Samurai uses Bleed + Bash + Disarm + Bladegrasp + Cleave + Mortalwound''. You do know that a samurai got enough stam for 2 of these skills, whereas the Pyro can use all his skills? You also said Samurai used One when before he attacked, which takes another 10 stam, so he can only use 1 skill in combat. So he can deal max 150dmg with his skills + sword damage. Your example is invalid. (Also, he has to wait 15-20 sec for two of his main skills to take full effect)

Also, a Dragoon using Spear + Impale is out of stam to sprint and use more skills.

Well samurais really should beat caster's when they have a op skill like one, but in reality pyro is really bad.... buff should be given.

IMO a short-term fix would be to give them either a larger hp pool OR a slow/root. Not both.

And keep in mind that pyros have only half the abilities other specced classes have. It's only natural they don't excel; they aren't finished.

I agree with @brancher on this, Pyromancer is missing 4 entire skills. I would probably give Pyromancer 4 CC skills to finish his build and have them all involve fire since when I think of Pyromancer I see cities on fire or burnt wastelands.

It's true that they aren't finished. It just seems that because there aren't many people that are pyro it seems to be left how it is.

@Kainzo Are there any updates you are thinking of for pyromancer?

Pyromancers have 400+ burst damage with just skills(if they have decent aim) They also have decent meelee damage. While pyromancers do need a buff. Your forgetting all their burst skills...

I prefer calling it IgniteBurst and make the user leave a trail of fire! Ingenious!

Got to lay waste to ppl somehow. And by CC it would be setting things on fire so its dangerous to get close. Like an aoe that set everything in bout 4-5 radius, a speed buff that also causing a fire where ever you stop, an aoe push that creates a ring of fire, then maybe a skill tgat sets all closeby enemies on fire and makes them move uncontrollably.

That is very creative actually. It would be cool is pyromancers could use fire was a crowd control. Im not sure you you could leave fire behind you that would not harm your party though, would be pretty hard to code.

Well its Fire you have to be careful or you'll get burnt besides maybe the Pyromance can get an AoE Fireshield for his allies to protect them from his attacks so he can go full throttle on laying the area to waste.

Kainzo Pyro's should get the speed thing samurais have because root is useless to them since it breaks on damage. Thats my opinion and I hope these changes for pyro come in pretty soon.

Sounds like a lil over the top to me, but I LOVE your idea of a ring of fire surrounding pyromancers that follows them around and sett everyone on fire not including themselves. Kinda reminds me of meditation hill last map. *flashback* memories of force pushing c12 and sharppencil into the ring of fire at the bottom of my hill. essentially 2v1ing them in an open personal region.. <3 *flashback*
