After the massive patch for mob scaling and crafting exp changes we're now fixing up things that were missed.
  • Fixed http://hc.to/vote <<< now shows top voters again!
  • Change on the back-end how EXP is calculated.
  • Fix invincible mobs and mobs that provide no exp.
  • Change how /party and /townchat function - they can now be focused and integrate with Herochat.
  • Enchanter's really gain crafting EXP now.
  • Update to latest Nocheat to try and prevent push-back
  • Refunds for destroying chestshops should be properly working again.
  • Updated Bungee to fix numerous amount of odd issues.
  • Reduce cooldown of Warp by 4 hours
  • Increase party bonus exp by 50% (party-exp-bonus: 1.25)
  • Forge-skills now will use the characters raw-name rather than their displayname - this should resolve Chestshop issues.
  • Runestone creation now uses the raw-player name versus the display name.
  • Quartz Ore is now under the Lesser Ore class, rather than Minor Ore.
Balance Changes

Overall
  • Increase magic resist per constitution by 0.001

Lostsoul
  • All starting Lostsouls will gain +3 to attributes (up from +0)
Ninja:
  • Reduce Smoke CD from base 45s to 35s
  • Reduce duration from 5.5s to 3.5s
  • Change hp from 640 base to 560
  • Removed Blackjack in favor of Garrote (not coded yet)
  • Reduce blind range from 12 to 8 blocks
Ranger
  • Change base hp to 630
Bard
  • Change base hp to 650
  • Remove warmups from songs (minus voidsong)
Runeblade
  • Change base hp to 600
Wizard
  • Increase base hp to 520
  • Increase blink distance to 8
  • Increase cooldown to 15s base
  • Decrease cost of Entangle to 75m and Increase cd to 20s
Pyromancer
  • Change base hp to 640
Necromancer
  • Change base hp to 600
  • Increase velocity of Bonespear
Beguiler
  • Change base hp to 590

Paladin -
  • Change base hp to 630
Dreadknight -
  • Change base hp to 610
Berzerker -
  • Change base hp to 600
Dragoon -
  • Change base hp to 590
  • Reduce spear range to 6 blocks
  • Reduce impale range to 6 blocks
  • Increase jump CD to 7.5s base
  • Damage Changes per level.
    • Wood_Spade: 0.25
    • Stone_Spade: 0.33
    • Iron_Spade: 0.35
    • Diamond_Spade: 0.38
    • Gold_Spade: 0.40

  • Change base hp to 635

1.25? Does this mean I'm getting 25% more XP while being in a party compared to soloing? That can't be right.
I think it's 125% of the split exp. So the formula would be (100/X) * 1.25
(100/2) * 1.25
50 * 1.25 = 75%

I could be wrong, but that definitely seems to make parties the go to way to level.

That's closer to the truth.

It's a BONUS amount.

So if the mob were to give 10 xp, if you had 10 people in the party, everyone would get 1 - if there was "no bonus".
If its at 75% - then people would get 1.75xp (maybe my math is wrong here).

At 1.25 - it would be 2.25 exp. Obviously, this could be wrong and if we feel its not good enough we'll change it.

Increasing party bonus exp is a good thing.

Any way you could do this with the "Killed By: ____" on the death chests too?

Was wondering, does the numbers for spades indicate damage increased per lvl? If so, with the base of 35, they will still do 59.7 damage @ 65

  • Since I don't know if the base hp includes attributes or not, I've left them alone.
  • Still need confirmation on what exactly the spade damage changes are.
  • Changed the magic resist of constitution to 0.3% in the "Attributes" page.

seems pretty cool. 6 block spear range is pretty short but i guess thats comparable to forcepull (pending how much int your willing to spend as disciple) and toss. Can always re-adjust small things after seeing how it plays out.
