It uses your base name in the "created by" notation on the item, which makes it so the item ID doesn't change any time you change the prefix/suffix/color of your name for in game chat. seems pretty cool. 6 block spear range is pretty short but i guess thats comparable to forcepull (pending how much int your willing to spend as disciple) and toss. Can always re-adjust small things after seeing how it plays out.
