Are you using Java 7?

Which one do i have to use?
Java 6 for Mac OS X. Then the ModPack installer should work fine provided that you've got a clean minecraft.jar (you can do force update and then run the mod pack installer).

So descriptive...
Yeah sorry Gabi, anyways what I mean is when I try to launch the Heromod Pack it says "FML ix setting up your environment" then right when it gets to:
Downloading file http://mirror.technicpack.net/technic/lib/scala-library.jar
I get a message that says fatal error, I don't know if it is because my computer is just bad or something else I also have java updated.
[I am not good with computers at all]
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Edit: I fixed it but now I am getting about 4-9 fps.

So, I am having a problem with the Technic Launcher..kind of. I can load it up, copy my rei's, macromod, and texture pack over than play Herocraft. Problem comes in after I quit and load the program back up again. I get into Minecraft, but when I start to log into Herocraft, it freezes, than goes to an error screen with this message

Minecraft has crashed!
----------------------

Minecraft has stopped running because it encountered a problem; Updating screen events

A full error report has been saved to C:\Users\David\AppData\Roaming\.technic\heromodpack\crash-reports\crash-2013-06-15_22.19.35-client.txt - Please include a copy of that file (Not this screen!) if you report this crash to anyone; without it, they will not be able to help fix the crash :(

If I delete the mod pack and re-download it, I can play again. Of course the next time I go to play, it repeats again. Anyone else have this problem?

So I did run into this issue before a very long while back, it has to deal with loading texturepacks that are higher than normal resolution, while the inclusion of Optifine in the modpack does guarantee switching to a high texturepack is fine, loading from one is not (due to the circumstances of how Technic has applied some "fixes" lately in their launcher). If you can revert to the normal default texturepack on load and then switch to Dokucraft after the main menu loads up, can you do that and see if that works?

I'll definitely give it a shot when I wake up and let you know.

EDIT: Beautiful! Worked like a charm. Thanks gabi.

NP :) The only real other option is to use the installer and use straight Minecraft client.

Hey whenever I load up Hero Modpack on the technic launcher for Rei's Minimap on the top right it says [Rei's Minimap] ERROR: null and I didn't touch a single setting on Rei's Minimap.
