Thanks for the map. One thing, though. I think it needs cropping slightly. I can't get it to open because it's taking up all of the 4gb of memory available and then the picture viewer crashed. From the rough half rendered view from windows photo viewer (which is the only thing that even tries to render it), it only appears to take up about a quarter of the actual image. It's also quarter of the size of the last one, according to the windows properties dialogue thing, and from another half rendered view on Linux, I'm pretty sure it's four time the size it needs to be. It'd be quite useful if you could crop it, since it just won't open on my computer, and I'm sure that other people can't either.

I had the same problem, and my computer I built 2 months ago....

Out of Memory Error. :icon_cry:

UPDATE: Microsoft Photo Viewer DOES handle the image, with the ability to Zoom in for amazing detail.

If Kainzo is using mcmap (which it looks like he is), all he needs to do is download the latest version, and it should work. I was having problems with it rendering images like that with a huge blank space, but after downloading the new version, it was fixed.

Also, I was able to make an 8 MB jpg with Picasa (I was hoping to just crop the PNG, but kept getting errors with any program that I used =/ ). Here's a link for those who aren't able to view the larger one. :)

With the newest version - it saves it as 180MB... link to the newer mcmap? Not sure how to get a map as large of ours.

That's the one I used Audie - it came out 180MB.

Oh. =/

That's kind of weird... it fixed the problem when I used the new version.

I think you can specify the coordinates for it to map. Maybe that would work? The section that says "area to render".

Both load fine in IRfanview.

I have taken pfdan's map and labeled it. It is in a Jpeg format however to reduce size.

Link: http://www.mediafire.com/?dfpx9c58zyb0cyk

I made a legend and gave each town (that I found on the forums) a number. top left. Each town is numbered in red on the map.

Thank you pfdan for the map.

If I have missed something important please let me know.
