I see here a ban on 2011-12-03 for griefing as well as on 2013-04-28 for griefing, destroying 10 honeypot blocks in this case.
Care to explain?

Certainly. The one on 2013-04-28 happened when I just connected on a server without block protections. I saw a pretty cool building with weirdly placed random blocks of sponge. I thought a greiffer could have placed them there so I started removing them. After 10 blocks or so I was banned. It was my first time on the server so I didn't care. I didn't mention it because it was so ridiculous that I didn't think it would be relevant to my application on this server. The one in 2011 I'm not even sure what happened. I have let my little cousin play on my account for a few hours once. It must have happened during this time. Since then I've been the only one using this account. I've never volutarily griefed and I'm certainly not planning to start today.
