Minecraft RPG Patch 7.1.0 - Requires 1.8+ minecraft clients to connect.
General
- Herocraft is now updated to 1.8, all blocks, animals and creatures are present on Valorium!
- The hc.to/xmas event is now at a close, the mobs will no longer drop presents.
- Enchanting now requires lapis to enchant items.
- Adjusted the relics drop rate so that 1-3 are less frequent.
- Increased the drop rate of lesser souls on Greater Ores by a small amount.
- Damage indicators have returned to Herocraft!

Prestige Classes
- Introducing Prestige Classes (Tier 2). All combat classes now have an advanced path.
- Prestige classes require the user master the previous class and pay souls to advance.
- Costs souls to become T2.
- T2 classes have 10% more attributes starting out. (Reference)
- These classes will level at a much slower rate. (25% of T1)
- Will have an additional skill in a future release.
- Max level is 61.
- This path is not required to level to experience pvp / full gameplay, but is for the die hards who want to maximize stats.
- Mastering these classes grant their class-title.

Heroes
- Improved the UI of /hero paths to be more colorful and easier to read!
- Increased price to select a class or profession to 500s (until we can re-code it to be tier specific - @cindy_k)
- Holy/Dread Steeds now require 3 sec cast time.
- Drastic armor changes have been made, gold will no longer be as easily available for casters/healers/rogues.
- Specific changes will appear in the hc.to/wiki as soon as possible.
- Spawner EXP returned to 100% (up from 5%)

Plugins
- Various plugins have been updated for the 1.8 patch and thus may react differently.
- LWC can now lock the new blocks (and some old ones) found in 1.8
- Jungle saplings have been patched to check surroundings before building to prevent weird issues.

Townships
- Various issues have been fixed thanks to @cindy_k and @Alator
- Added more debugging logs to ensure bug fixing happens

7.1.1
- Slightly adjusted the exp base for farms and monsters.
- Revert Explosiveshot and Blizzard skill changes
- Rare drops now come in the form of Diamond rather than Gold
- Prevent mass silverfish spawning from blocks (@cindy_k)
- Various lag fixes to try and mask the 1.8 minecraft issues.
- T2 classes have had an increase in exp gain slightly.
- T2 classes now gain skills from Lvl 1 to 25
- T2 classes level at 40% the current rate of T1
- Slightly adjusted the growth rate for mobs; damage, health and exp

7.1.2
- Resolved T2 exp loss to be far too high than intended.
- Resolved skulls and consolation items from not being granted in crates after the 1.8 update.
- Adjusted the entity plugin to not be so severe on animals.
- Fixed Skill-Blizzard graphical issues.
- Fixed /pet silverfish not working with the new anti-silverfish plugin.
- Skill-Cleave temp added to Samurai (lvl 30)
- Fixed Piggify and Masspiggify to work in water.

7.1.3
- Re-enable Damage Indicators
- Add in some Township tax fixes (@Alator)
- Live-testing armor mitigation changes (these will be tweaked and probably only stay in for a restart)
- Slightly adjusted the drop rates from Slimes and Lavaslimes for Relics.
- Added overview regions showing on hc.to/map (can disable)
- Fixed T2 Wizards attributes - it was the same as T1.
- Disconnected council room+ as the township central structure to prevent nub townies from killing your town.
- Tax update clarification: Fixed an issue with the central structure stealing money every day. All payouts (negative and positive) come out of and are placed into the town bank, not the region owner. Residences are still charged to the region owner.

7.2.0 (pre)
- Added the new Heroes info bar, use '/hero infobar' to toggle it.
- Enabled /money balance <name> to view players currency information.
- All southern dungeons now have pvp-on.
- Fixed hc.to/vote's top voters page.
- Added a new command /who <player> to show unified information.
- Re-added /help <topic>
- Adjusted Profession Relic drop rates for 4 and 5. They are now 10 times more common.
- Slightly increased GreaterSoulOre drop rates.
- Bounties have significantly changed.
-- Players may only have an active bounty once every 20 hours.
-- Freshly bountied players have 10 minutes before someone can accept their bounty.
-- Players with bounties can be attacked anywhere by the person who accepted the bounty.
-- When attacking someone in PVP-OFF, you will be open to PVP combat.
-- Costs of bounties have increased to 250s
- Fix an entity crashing issue in spigot / minecraft.
- Lava damage changed from 10% per tick to 5%.
- Fixed various tips and announcement issues and inconsistencies
- Added Drop Boosts to the store (+10%, +20% and +30%)
- Added War/Peace time contested regions (WarEast / WarWest @ hc.to/map)

7.2.5
- Fixed an issue with priorities in war time zones. PVP-ON was applied but the priority of the regions were too low. My bad!
- Alchemist now gain Novice Alchemist at level 1 instead of level 10
- Bounties now cost 200s to place.
- slightly adjusted Enchanters creation level for DepthStrider, Thorns and others.
- Increased the visual range of entities, decreased the activation range of entities.
- Adjusted hopper rate to reduce server lag when there are 100+ online.
- Added Saddle to the cast reagent to Steed skills as a temp fix to the saddle dupe.
- Taunt damage reduction reduced to 15% from 20%.
- Correctly applied Attributes to Ravager's
- Honorblade's can now use Cleave like Samurais!
- Sharpness enchants now function on all items.
- Limbo now has PVP ON everywhere except respawn. FEAR SERVER RESTARTS!
- Fixed starting stats for Shaman / Dreadknight and Samurai
- Adjust bounty cost to 150s per bounty.
- Remove mob health while keeping exp and damage scaling on mobs.
- Adjusted the hopper transfer/check speed to decrease wait.

- Introduced TREASURE HUNTS! simply do /hunt (or hold a zombie flesh and left click with it, chance to consume)
- Added Crates V2, different prizes!
- Added Trails!
- Added Ankhs and Scroll of Warps custom items.

7.2.6
- Hot fixed exp loss in arenas. (@werwew19 - this will need to be resolved in BattleArena i fixed it in the class files but its not a solid fix)
- Added Tombstone timer to 6 minutes (down from 11min)

I know the tier 2 classes were supposed to add something else to do and be another grind for players, but the regular class leveling was already a big grind which many players disliked. Making tier 2's 25% of t1 just seems ridiculous and not really worth it at all. I really think it needs to be just a tad less than the regular tier 1's

looking forward to leveling T2 Bloodmage whenever my new computer is up and running. 25% of T1 leveling speed seems a tad bit excessive though, even if it is a prestige class.

With the addition of full spawner exp and dungeons working, i think a group of 2-3 leveling at a time off a spawner will find that the 25% exp increase isn't much of a hindrance, so it should promote more group play.

T2 at 25% sounds about right to me. These classes are not required to play the game and start with 10% higher stats than a t1 max. These are designed to give players something to work at for the long haul and should take a long time to level as to prevent game breakage.

If they level quickly, even during boosts, players would grind them out quickly, be OP and get bored.

Is it possible to not show the North Continent region? I covers everything underneath it, and I can't seem to click on anything underneath it either

Edit: Apparently it's just SOME things that are underneath it and can't be clicked.

How exactly were they able to do this before and how did you fix it?
In the configs, you can define "central structures" for superregions. The councilroom+ were these designations, meaning that if someone destroyed the council room (aka accidentally broke the center chest) it took down the town. I removed this config setting.
