My name is Lais Lindsay. I am GKrush's mom. As you can likely tell it is my email attached to this account. ([email protected]) When G was banned from the other server for griefing (and honestly, it's been so long ago I don't even recall in which community the infraction occured)...at any rate, when he was banned he had *just* begun playing Minecraft. He was younger, and really had no idea how online gaming communities work, how to find out what the server rules are, etc. Fortunately, the administrator on the server let him off the hook with a warning, though shortly after he stopped utilizing that server. I apologize that we didn't include this information in the original application. As I said, it's been a while and I forgot about it when he came to me and asked if he could become more involoved on the herocraft server.
We genuinely appreciate your consideration.

Edit: I should add, the specific grief was (if I recall correctly) breaking bricks in a protected area. LL

My name is L. Lindsay. My son who is almost eight and I are trying to figure out how Minecraft works. Today was actually our first day ever playing multiplayer.. not just on your server, but ever. Needless to say, we are both pretty new at this. Apparently, G took some food from something that had a 'Free Food' sign over/ near it. He thinks this was why he was griefed. Earlier today, I sat down with him and we pulled up the /Rules and reviewed them. I was very clear with him that he should not take/mine anything that was not his. Apparently the pull of the free food sign was too much. What kind of chump falls for that kind of thing you ask? The eight year old variety, that's who.

I indicated in the app that he is 13 because I wanted to protect him from unnecessary griefing about his age. (which he has experienced in the past elsewhere) He's a really precocious kid; very smart and quite capable. If you feel he isn't appropriate for your server based on his age, I understand. As a mom who tries very hard to police his online presence I don't want him anywhere he won't be tolerated. That said, we reviewed the rules and felt it would be okay for him to give it a go.
I should also clarify that he is not responsible for the age indicated.. I am...which is why I am the one responding to this thread. (Well, that and because the email comes to me.)

I will actually have to deny the application as your son does not meet the age requirement found in our ToS nor the law COPPA. By law it would be illegal for me to accept this application. Your son may re-apply when he meets the age requirement. He may play on the greylist, but whitelisting is not an option at this time.

Funny...we read the rules but I didn't find an age reference in the ToS.
