@TheMormon I'm still getting the frozen "Done Uploading." I also installed the clean MC 1.7.3 that gabi put up, and I can't get it to work. D:

Try to do a force update without the actual usable jars in place and then replace the fresh jar. If not, there's something with your mods folder (probably not, but using a clean bin can be really helpful in these cases)

Ok. Just did that. Now what? Do I replace just add the .jar to the bin folder? Cause I'm experimenting with moving it to different places and I just can't seem to get it.

Put the jar downloaded from mediafire into the bin folder and rename the jar as minecraft.jar

Replacing the minecraft.jar that was there to begin with.
You should be able to start up fine after that.

Here's some instructions of the same idea:
Step 1: Hold Windows key on your keyboard and press R, this will open Run box.
Step 2: In search field of Run, type %AppData% and hit Enter.
Step 3: Locate .Minecraft folder, copy it and paste it in some other directory. This backup will help you if anything goes wrong.
Step 4: Open the original .minecraft folder and go to Bin directory.
Step 5: Locate minecraft.jar in the bin folder and remove it.
Step 6: Now download the client files from the link below and place it in the Bin folder.
With this, you should be able to use the downloaded minecraft.jar(Heroeswhatever) and rename that jar to minecraft.jar
If you do this correctly, you will run everything fine

I'm on. Thanks. <3

My problem was that the "minecraft.jar" didn't say "minecraft.jar". It was just "minecraft" so i added the new jar and was putting "minecraft.jar". Haha.

Well considering my jars are minecraft.jar(whateverversion you got here) you have to rename that to minecraft.jar or just minecraft

So i started installing it, I'm getting it to work but some reason the MCpatcher fix doessn't work after. Gonna try some things out. Otherwise I have a modloader jar equipped with it installed and nothing else.

Did you install ModloaderMP? and which Buildcraft are you trying to install, 1.4 or 2.1.2 beta?

Also, by order of Kainzo, we can't post up jars with TMI as it can still affect SMP (even when it requires OP status but still).

Arg. Can I borrows someone's 1.7.3 minecraft set. I really don't care about what kind of Smp or other things you have on it. It's just that I tried using gab's 1.7.3 but when it loads it's just says " Updating"

Did you rename the jar as minecraft ? If you don't rename it then the loader doesn't know what to load anymore
