Make it slightly more efficient to level on PvP than on PvE.

Efficiency is already adjusted to a larger scale, but tilting the scales towards PvP reflects the difficulty in setting up and maintaing a Swamp in PvP. Towns that can do that should be rewarded.

PvE should be harder to level than it is now by increasing mob stats and making Exp comparable to PvP. In PvP, leveling builds general activity,both building and fighting. In PvE, it seems to make being Level 65 on the server less appealing.

TL: DR PvP is actually HARDER (ganks etc.) to level on currently, we need to make PvE harder to level or "lower efficiency" in order to reflect the true difficulties.

Alternative: When Bosses come out, Bosses give kickass experience, and other PvE leveling takes an appropriate reduction.

I agree with you. However, you spoke of the hardship that concerns colonizing a swamp. I have heard of the "fear" of swamps from multiple people, saying they're great for leveling etc. My guess is that there is something different in our server system in swamps, is there?

No, my understanding is we basically use vanilla mob spawn rules. Swamps that are underlight from the berdrock to suface are the best place to find mobs in Vanilla, because Slimes spawn there granting more experience (and therefore a slightly easier leveling experience because small slimes do no damage and are worth equal experience), and no mobs are hidden underground per chunk.

A good swamp is the best way to level, with a good team at the most efficient radius (from spawn) for your team's DPS and health management skills. It is harder to level in PvP because of gank squads, the mobs on PvE are not yet of equal difficulty for efficient leveling.

Oh, alright. Then I was making myself ideas.. but the idea is better the way you explained it to me, and now I know something new :)
