Here are my original designs, which stronghold based the current one's on (for what he could remember).
I personally feel that they are appropriate for seagate--they look about as welcoming as gates and walls can look, while still remaining strong and protective against outsiders.
The Main (West) Gate:
Other Cardinal (North, South, East) Gates:
Mixed-directional (northwest, etc.) Openings (optional):
And the general look of a wall:
Tell me what you think. Build any suggestions you have in SINGLEPLAYER, and then post your suggestion HERE. Unless Stronghold says otherwise.

I had a fun Idea. After watching a tournament in the new DH Arena. Pun was in the tournament! (<--- doesn't matter) I had an idea to create our own arena to train and hold town wide tournaments in!
I built my idea on SP and here are the pics (yes they are big and yes i only built half of the stands.

Anywho thats my design. The wood going into the arena would be bridges activated from the glass box.
Lots of water and sandstone (which is turning into our town rock it seems ) Look more at the design than the matterials though because it can be made of whatever.

Im loving this idea! The only change i would REQUEST to see is a higher drop into water from the central ring. It looks like maybe 3-4 high drop into water in the picture? How about 10 minimum!
I like this idea, due to the similarities found in StarWars. The training ground for the Crimson Guard (the Emperor's Personal Bodyguards) is similar, minus the water at the bottom! lol
oh, and for the record, Rue was too chicken shit to get in the ring. So yours truely represented SeaGate. I made it to QuarterFinals... a good showing considering the massive amount of lag i was getting... lol

since i have no clue about anything spleef It's a combat arena. We could hold our own mini tournament and find our town champion. who can then battle it out at the DH arena for the glory of Seagate

Spleef is a minecraft game in which players (Can be 1 on 1, or teams) stand on a platform. They are forbidden to build. They can, however, destroy blocks. They try to destroy the blocks under the opposing player/team, so that they fall. Whoever is last standing wins! (So I suppose a free-for-all is also possible).
Of course, you can add variations such as multiple layers, each getting smaller, or traps, or a maze, or two blocks high so players can't jump.
And there is ONE occasion in which you can build - if there is a gap between you and the opposing player/team, you can build a bridge. Other than that, no building!

I love the idea, I'm not a big fan of Sport Griefing (Spleefing). If you guys would like to turn it into a Spleef arena, by all means go ahead.
