Yes there are shops, but they have been out of stock for a long time now.
I don't know of a tree farm, but feel free to use the wheat just outside of town as long as you replant.
I'm not saying how to get down so raiders won't know, get with someone ingame.
I don't quite know what this town really needs myself. Maybe Farmer or Merchant.
