Suggestion Beguilers need some work.

Sure. Why not have megabolt affect party members as well? Or whirlwind. Or explosive shot...
Oh wait, you're realising that you want to make 1skill the exception of the rule? Don't be stupid.

If I had it my way all aoe damage skills would hurt everyone in contact with the explosion radius, but Its not bout what I want. I was merely making a suggestion that might make players need to use more tactics in combat instead of just pushing buttons to win.

The problem I see with beguiler is that It's damage is too reliable due to it's CC. I think it should get the treatment of the other classes and have fireball and pulse replaced. These skills are some of the original spells, but they really only fit wizard. Beguiler is supposed to be the skill Trickster/Illusionist ,but whats so "tricky" about these skills. These new skills could be either harder to use or be more of an utility spell.

In the end, I feel beguiler shouldn't be a class that you pick for the damage.

@Delfofthebla correct me if I'm wrong but isn't a Beguiler a AoE specialist? All I have said is that Beguilers need more skills to add complexity to the class while the damage is scaled to be fair.

Undoubtedly people bring it to fights for it's AoE, but they also bring it for it's amazing CC capabilities that exceed that of any other class. They have both damage and CC, and that is why they are sought after.

Also, you still haven't answered my question.
