Please explain more about your ban

They had a towny plugin and they did not want people building towns in the Nether or End, I glitched to the top of the Nether with ender pearls thinking it wouldn't count and started building my town, but it did and they banned me for it.

*EDIT* The "Top of the Nether" is a flat, endless area of bedrock that is similar to playing on Superflat.

So you have problems with following the rules? Also when did this take place?

I don't usually have a problem following rules and this was about a year ago when I first bought Minecraft, I was a bit of a newbie so I was ignorant back then, it was my first and only ban, but since then I have been following rules for many servers.
