This dark enough? Or do you want it as dark as the inside. The inside is actually chrome so it reflects off the back of the sphere, behind the lighting, which is darker. I could make it work though, unless this one works for you.

Oh, I meant the gray/black area on the shield itself. Stupid medieval history class messing with my vocabulary.
