Majora, you underestimate the uh...ruthlessness..of our community. We don't welcome new players with an escort to a new home anymore, we gather outside the gates and slaughter them as they leave :< I'd be surprised to see one of these fellas making it past 200 blocks.

There's no need for concern. Our staff is competent enough to handle their own coordinated events. If any damage is done, it will be handled. Members need only be polite and courteous to our guests - in between blood baths.
And team avolition is no threat to us.

I just don't want the wilderness being griefed beyond relief. Seriously, I have tried non-whitelisted servers before, and everywhere is messed up. Not to say this will happen in 3 days, but it could. In some areas.

Sorry, but I do not have the belief that the staff will be able to control an army of wondering new players. If you could, that would be awesome. Maybe see them not replant a tree then BANG! - Send them to the server jail (I know you have one secretly, don't lie).

Psh, Herocraft doesn't take prisoners. We EXECUTE them!
And I have to disagree - Herocraft's wilderness is already hideously destroyed. While I hosted Malum, I spent most of my time destroying hopping stones, dirt bridges, and repairing damage to my terrain.

Like for the video, but i disagree with Guides having to stay in spawn forever. I don't think the noobs will be able to even get outside spawn without being hunted down. And if someone makes it, they'll die in the wilderness.

Nowayyy. Mobs are super dangerous to newbies, but it's nothing like what it was at the start of this map! By the time you made it far enough from civilization to be safe from hunters, you were nearly starved to death, and had to quickly find food! My first day was spent fishing for the Erebos crew, we were all starving :<
