Has Zans Minimap been outlawed from the server? and if so why?

Nope! The minimap is completely allowed! I happily use it. I find it VERY useful on this server.

Zans minimap isnt allowed actually, it shows cave systems which is a little bit like cheating. Reis minimap under the mod map pack is completely allowed though.

but the cave map on it sucks, i was wonderin what it was in single player, switched to it and it couldnt even find my underground house or my mine

Rei's has a cavemapping feature too. Also, it shows entities on the mini-map. Not sure if this is just mobs or mobs and players.

I won't be switching mini-maps because of a stupid feature I don't even use.

It allows them to find secret bases.

It allows them to see lit caves. and in the process 'secret bases' dont want your place being broken into? obby the walls.

Rei's has a cavemapping feature too. Also, it shows entities on the mini-map. Not sure if this is just mobs or mobs and players.

I won't be switching mini-maps because of a stupid feature I don't even use.

Rei's minimap has cave map and entity radar disabled for smp. I highly recommend it over zans because it runs faster and the map looks better (you can see height better with it)
