A bit of a random question, but still...
What is it called when a government doesn't follow a set political ideology, whereas choices made are simply done so because it's the most logical/reasonable thing to do (or something along those lines)?
Basically, the situation plays a key role in decision making, therefore you wouldn't have ''We always need government created jobs'' or ''We always need big businesses'', ect ect.
I'm not sure if i've made this clear, but heck, I may aswell ask. Just curious, that's all! Anyone know?
