Not a Bug /town accept broken?

I invited @Lewisdc123 with /town invite +lewisdc123

He tried typing /town accept hyperion, /town accept Hyperion, /town accept northeaster345 and none of them worked
They always popped up the town help page. He tried relogging to no avail.


Am telling him the wrong command or is /town accept broken?

My first guess is that it worked the first time but wasn't seen.
Accepting brings a confirm prompt, and confirm prompts aren't intuitive.

So he has to type /town accept confirm?

IIRC /town accept townname should bring a confirm prompt.
At that point, /town confirm should do it.

Make sure there's not something else wrong though. Like already being in a town.

Yeah he's not in a town. No prompt on /town accept hyperion. I'll tell him to try /town confirm

There was a semi recent rollback in towns, I'm not sure if anyone from Hyperion has re-claimed the town center but that will fix all town commands.

I did that a few weeks ago when I couldn't add people to town regions. I was able to add him to town regions, but he couldn't accept the invite.

Have you tried relogging?

Yeah we both relogged. I can try reclaiming again, but usually when that was the issue, I couldn't use town regions, and didn't have issues with town invites

I still haven't had him try /town confirm, so that might be the issue.

Remember when we ran into this issue, I had to leave the town for some PvP event and /town accept wouldn't work

I see this all the time, my opinion is user operator. Try inviting him again, in my experience it's been a combination of: relog, reinvite.. and is there a /town accept cancel? (can't remember off the top of my head, not currently logged in)

EDIT: /town cancel will exit current command if they did not confirm

Try doing /town invite -lewisdc123 to remove the invitation, then /town invite +lewisdc123 to re-invite, have him /town accept Hyperion, then ask him to do /town confirm.
