Reason you should be accepted:
I am friendly and I love to build. I enjoy PVP, but I am good at judging when people aren't interested in it, and leave them alone. I aspire to develop some plugins, but haven't gotten to that point yet, as I am still pretty new to the game (just started about a month ago).
How did you hear about Herocraft?:
I found HeroCraft when reading about the Heroes server plugin. I am very impressed by the work put into it, as there are no other plugins that even come close to the quality and flexibility. Heroes changes MineCraft in the best way I have seen. Many of the other plugins of its type cause a game ruining imbalance.
Have you voted for Herocraft (No? Click here)?:
I have not voted yet. I am sure the server is awesome, but I don't like making uneducated decisions. If I am excepted, I will vote when I have had a chance to experience your world.
Additional Info:
My PC gaming started with playing Warcraft II with my friends on my dad's 4 computer IPX network. From that point, I was hooked and never went back to console gaming.
I moved on to Diablo, which was the first graphical game you could play over the internet (at least the first I know about). I joined a guild called "The Knights Who Say Ni!", which was a non-hacking guild focused on community and simply playing the game.
Everything changed when Ultima Online came out. I played that game for years and was very sad when they added a new PVP-free land that completely ruined the balance. I still continued playing, but PVP was very different and I missed the old days of risk and of having to constantly watch your back. It was nice having the possibility of losing things when you were killed, rather than never having any risk at all, which is too easy.
I played WoW for a while and got bored with it around level 45.
Later on, I started playing Darkfall, which has some really awesome PVP and a lot of risk, which is very unique to the game. One of the main developers worked on the original Ultima Online, and the game had a lot of similarities. I played that for a number of months and then life pulled me in other directions.
I recently went back to WoW and leveled my mage to 85, but quit and moved to Star Wars: The Old Republic when it came out.
Then MineCraft came along... A friend told me about it, and it sounded fun, so I jumped into single player. I was instantly addicted. I stayed up way too late for way too many nights in a row playing and building. I can't believe how engaging such a simple game can be! I completely abandoned SWTOR and have never played it since.
Coincidentally, some of my other friends had started playing MineCraft as well, and they had just started playing on a multiplayer pvp server. I was excited and joined them, but soon we found that the admins were not running things very professionally and their server was really laggy. The co-owner of the server admitted to using glitches to break into our base and cause a lot of damage. I had donated (probably too hastily), and was sad to have to leave to avoid an unfair admin that was abusing power.
They were running mcmmo and factions, which was pretty cool, but I feel that mcmmo is not very balanced. That is what led me to researching Heroes and I feel it addresses many of the balance issues and makes it really fun, especially since you can limit which weapons people can use by class (among the many other cool features).
I look forward to the possibility of playing on your server. I really does look like one of the best ones out there, so I am excited.
I am sorry I don't have any screen shots, but the stuff I build isn't usually very pretty. I am usually more about utility than anything.
Thanks for your consideration and I look forward to hearing back.

P.S. I almost forgot to mention that I also created time travel and colonized my first planet at the age of 8. Not sure if that helps or not...
