TEAMSPEAK ABUSE

I joined Teamspeak today and joined Barnubus Sticky Sanctum. I was logged in as Hurricane becuase that is what I use when I play BF3 and i forgot to change it. Here's what followed"

Barnubus: Hey, whos Hurricane?
Hurricane(ME): Take a guess
Barnubus: No I dont like guessing
Hurricane: Oh Come on take a guess play this game
Barnubus: nah
"You have been kicked from the channel"
" You have rejoined the channel"
Hurricane: OKay I'll tell you who I a--.."Channel Edited" "You have been kicked from the channel"

The channel was PW'd and I had been kicked.
Firstly, why does Barnubus get her own channel in teamspeak. I would understand if it was guild or a town but wtf is a sticky sanctum? Sounds innapropriate and immature and on top of that, why give her special privileges?

Secondly, I was kicked and then locked out of the channel quite unjustly. That's all well and good if she knew who I was but I mistakenly had the wrong name in teamspeak. When I tried to say who I was and change my name I was abruptly kicked out of the channel without warning.

TL;DR Barnubus is abusing TS powers and should not get special privileges to a channel of her own.

T6 Donors get their own channel, and can do what ever they want with the channel. As it was your choice to join a channel which I am admin in, the fault is yours.

Not helping your case Mal. Petty insults solve nothing. You could have simply Messaged Barn in private instead of making a scene on the forums. This is not the way to go about solving the problem. This was never a public issue, thus, no need for public rebuke.

I believe this needs a lock. This thread won't go anywhere but down from here. If you have a problem with someone, do it in private regardless of what happened.

There shouldn't be any abuse of any power, whether a donor "owns" the channel or not. It is a DH hosted server. Everyone should always be polite and courteous to others.

Admins have enough drama to deal with as it is. If abuse of power is witnessed, these private channels will be taken away.

It wasn't abused. He came into my channel and in my opinion was being rude.
He didn't need to be in the channel, and he didn't need to be rude.

If he was being rude, you should have made that apparent in your first reply to this thread.

If security is an issue, make sure to password the channel.

I thought this shit was a joke, to be honest. But fine, next time I will make it clear he was rude right off the bat.

I have plenty of people in my channel all the time, even sometimes some people I'm not exactly friendly with. I will never kick someone without a reason, most often being rude.

I don't want to put a password on my channel because I enjoy talking to random people, as long as they aren't rude. I should be able to defend the peace in my channel when someone comes in to troll me.

Don't join random channels if you dont want to get kicked.

If you dont want rude players to be in your channel - password protect it.
