In town upgrades, Diamonds are a strong requirement. Why not give emeralds a use and replace diamonds with them?

Suggestion Switch emeralds for diamonds

Or even require both, I'd just like to see a use for emeralds haha.
I like the challenge of needing diamonds. It really brings a town together to work for the goal. I do agree that more items should be added to the upgrade requirements like emeralds. Emeralds are plentiful, but do not have as much use as before. I would also love to see villagers return to bring some more use to emeralds back as well as give the Merchant profession more value.
