Stuck at "Logging in...."

After working on a thread for a bit, I tried logging in to Herocraft to find that I stay at logging in for a while and then i get a "took too long" or "End of stream" message. I have no idea what's wrong. I restarted my computer and nothing happened, I still have the same problem. am using the correct version. Is anyone else getting this? Help?
