While I agree that there is an apparent lack of skills for thieves, this problem inundates the other three Rogue Specialties. I feel that Kainzo/Coding team neglect the Rogue class and instead focus more of their time on other paths, especially that of the Casters.

Eg: Geomancer = 11 skills (excluding Mark/recall)
Eg: Ranger = 5 skills (excluding sneak, mark and recall)

Mage/Healer = Skill Dependant
Warrior = Armor Dependant
Rogue = Sword Dependant

Thats why mages and healers have an abundant amount of skills compared to rogues and warriors

  • Now that the /Wolf health and cap issues have been fixed, can the skill recharge be reduced from 5 minutes?
  • I need people who are Necomancer and Bloodmage to go over the wiki and fill in the blanks. If you don't know how/are too lazy to edit, here's what I need:
    • Level requirements of each Necromancer skill
    • Cost and recharge of Necro skills Web and Poison
    • Health costs of each Bloodmage skill
    • Mana and cooldown of Bloodmage Curse skill.

Its like 5 hp for Syphon with a 4s cooldown
And curse is like 5% mana with like a 5sec cooldown

I'd edit it on the wiki but im at school and these computers suck due to them not even being computers, just moniters with ram and crappy cpu's loading the entire operating system through a network and using virtual hard drives.

Plus, im pretty sure im the only bloodmage atm, i remember kain saying something about their being less bloodmages then Zo's

Although I like to bitch and moan about thieves JW is right in the fact that it is a weapon wielding class. It has some good basic skills and there is room for more, but they aren't in dire need of any skills just yet.

jwplayer did u by any chance look at the skill list for bloodmages that I came up with? I have always been interested in the bloodmage class and want to go to it but only if the skills get revamped to things like what I posted. If you could please look it over. I would be very interested to see what you say about it. I do think that this would bring a lot more people into bloodmage but please look it over. It is in suggestions and is titled bloodmage needs love. It isn't the first post it is a couple posts down.

My point by it is yea as it is there aren't any bloodmages because right now the skills and the playing isn't great. Kainzo mentioned that bloodmage was goign to be revamped and I hope he didn't just mean that the costs spells were just going to change.

I agree that all classes except for most caster class could use some more skills. But yes, what has been said before is that casters use spells. They dont have a nice powerful sword to swing or massive amounts of health or nice armor to help protect them. Healers and casters have abilities. Thats what make them unique. Rogues use swords and bows and have subtly and warrios have swords and other weopons and armor and health. Everyone has something awesome that the other classes don't have.

I'll go take a look at it, i've been planning on makeing a over all healers review called "Healers, Revamped and Remade" but never got around to it:oops:. My general idea was for bloodmage to be a poweful suport but at the cost of his life.

Honestly though, if im ever gona want skills put in, in gona need to code them myself, so after i speed through my A+ certifications, im switching to the java class next door and doing that for the second half of the school year. Hopefully i can make some skills and if i get advance enough try to hook into heroes to add some modifications that i would prefer (though kain prob wouldnt use them:rolleyes:)

What i will start doing those is going up to the programming class at lunch and trying to learn a bit then

lulwut? the thread split into a bloodmage thief discussion? those dont even go together. Thief needs more, Its like playing a hack and slash, but losing consistently

But both classes could use either a revamp or a bunch of additions to them. They jsut didn't want us mucking up there patch notes
