Hey guys,
As of a date that is yet to be decided, in an arena that is, at the moment, being kept hidden from the public, Spire will be holding a mass PvP tournament that will go on for approximately a week.
The rules are simple. Users will be placed into a large arena where they can destroy, place and use blocks in any way that they wish, with the exception of LAVA and TNT, both of which will not be allowed. The arena will contain a number of tricks and suprises, and it will not be revealed to the players until a few days before the tournament begins. Users may use whichever blades, weapons and armor that they wish, as well as whatever skills that they wish - the only exception being suicide and recalling to a position outside the playing field, both of which will result in an instant forfeit being issued. Up to 20 players may register for the tournament itself - it will be held in Australian Eastern Standard Timezone. American players wishing to gain fame should grab an energy drink and take a few nights off the bed =P
The tournament will be placed in the form of survival (Being pitted into a large pit full of other players and mobs and seeing who lives the longest), Team vs Team PvP, Deathmatches and simple 1v1 challenges. Each match will be watched by a watched by an umpire who will watch and decide the winner and loser in case of any controversy.
To cut to the part that everyone actually wants, the prize that will be provided to the winner of the tournament will be ONE THOUSAND COIN as well as the title of the Spirewield PvP Champion.
As by Spire's rules, Casters and Specialized Casters may NOT participate in this tournament.
We hope to see users participate and register themselves for what ought to be some good fun.
Cheese,
S
