Smite is op

Huh? My computer uses an intel processor and my chat looks just fine and colorful.

At first I was thinking you were on a different server using heroes (and has an account here to check on updates from kain, alot of people do that). If that was the case, it's that server's config for heroes that does the cooldown, and the classname is a coincidence

Bascially, the range needs to be nerfed to about 5-6 and the cd should be increased by about two.

Then it would be useless.

Assuming it's just disciple that has the really low CD, the CD is fine. I've watched Ironee play, I know how painful an 7-8 second cooldown is for the healer's only means of attack. I think the range should be 7-8 if it must be lowered at all.

If Disciples didn't have such a good smite, nobody would be complaining. No sense in ruining it for all healers.

It's really not that bad. Especially considering it's the only means for healers to attack stuff. It's definitely possible that disciples don't need it, or their special version of smite should get nerfed. But really it's just fine. Paladin's aren't meant to kill things, they take damage so their friends can kill things and not take too many hits.



EDIT: If you have no friends, don't pick Paladin.
