Now this I can agree with. However I think garrote should just have a range increase, instead of nerfing Smite. Ninja's are a melee class that has a bunch of cool skills, so the ranged ones like garrote should be ranged like smite is. I think most ranged, instant damage+effect skills should have the same range as smite, 10 blocks, like Harmtouch, Layhands, Pray, and others. Make it a standard.

I must have overlooked that. That does sound OP as fuck. It's the only healer spec that does more than 10 damage with smite.
So if you are a master paladin, 133.2 hp / 14 damage per smite = 10 smites to drop a master paladin.
Fortunately, the cooldown is 7 seconds, which is only 1 second faster than normal healer.
That means that 10 smites * 7 seconds between = 70 seconds for a disciple to kill a paladin with just smite.
however, it takes 20 mana. So unless they have someone using battery on them, they will run out of mana before they kill you. Then they will be out of options. however with raw fish or sticks, they do the same melee damage as you do.
So smite is strangely op on disciples, but otherwise, I really don't think they are that op. I've killed plenty of healers as a necromancer.
