- Maximum speed is from 0.1125 to 0.3375 (but tending toward the average of 0.225.) This is in internal units. By comparison, the player's walking speed is 0.1 in the same unit.
- Donkeys are spawned with 15 to 30 health, 0.175 movement speed and 0.5 jump strength
Donkeys only move .75 faster than walking, but they can carry chests. With this in mind, it would fit several class's lore to have a slower and easily killable mount, or a tethered inventory.
Profession Ideas:
Miner: Beast of Burden - Summons a tamed donkey. Miners can NOT ride the donkeys, but can tether them and put items in their chests.
Merchant: Go to Market - Summons a ride-able donkey for a period of time.
Is it possible to grant donkey riding for this skill only? Without granting horse riding? If not, a similar skill to Beast of Burden would also fit Merchant.
Non-profession ideas:
Bard: Wandering Minstrel - ride-able donkey for a period(despawns in combat). Idk why bard would need a donkey with Accelerando in their kit, but bards rode donkeys, discuss.
Cleric: Crusade - ride-able donkey for a period (can be used in combat). Fits with monk/priest lore, but Cleric is designed as a slow class, so it would have to be a short duration.
Disciple: Donkey Buddy - Your friendly ass lets you ride it for a period (despawns in combat). Monk lore, but I do not think disciple needs a movement speed skill in combat, discuss.
Necromancer - Skeleton Horse. Just a reminder that Necro needs his skeletal horse mount, even out of combat if needs be. God knows necro doesn't need to be able to kite in combat even more than they do now.
Druid: Bacchus's Steed - Rideable donkey (can be used in combat). Would also need to be a short-medium duration.
