Both alpine and normal skiing are better than snowboard.

Been alpine skiing and skiing normally (Cross-country) since I was 2 years old, oh how I love having a cabin far up in the mountains with easy access to alpine centers and normal skiing slopes.

Snowboard seems derpy to me though and I'm not into freestyle so meh.

Absolutely skiing, I live within an hour/two hours of several great ski hills and the skiers (even young ones) always outnumber snowboarders. It's simply, better.

I personally prefer shirtless chest sliding myself. Since that is not an option though, I'll go with skiing.
