In the past the thoughts of recall breaking on damage has been shot down, mostly I find that people say its the only way crafters can escape from PvP classes. Well with the up coming profession update, what does everyone think about having recall break on damage? I know myself I find it infuriating when a PvP class recalls out of a fight. I understand why crafters could use it, however I think this would be a nice change so people cant start a fight and run away while recalling.

This should've been implemented a LONG time ago. Recalling not breaking on damage is basically combat logging. This would be better because people would have to run to safety if they want to recall.

Yea I agree. I hate fighting someone and just when I am about to kill them when, "Wait, where the hell did they go?"

Recall used to break on both combat and movement on the last map at some point, not really sure why that was stopped. Might be a good reason.

It should break on damage. Maybe it could also sround the player in soul-sand to make recalling more difficult and make people think twice about recalling in combat.

Yea, port breaks on damage, use of another skill, using an item like eating or most anything. I don't know if it breaks on movement or not though. I would say no, since when Sheddi needs to stop a port he starts eating some food usually.

There's no point to the timed delay if damage doesn't stop the recall. I thought the whole point of it was to ensure people don't run from battle?

Surely this is a necessity!

Yea, we got raided earlier and a few of us chased whiteninja around our base several times before more came and helped us to corner him, but he used recall while he ran. Someone managed to hit him but he still recalled. Needs to break on damage and movement.

Also, I know Kainzo said stuff will be done at so me point already. Just mentioning as a valid reason why this needs to happen, because I noticed there are some votes for "no".
