Sanctuary Griefing?

Are you allowed to grief in Sanctuary? I just want to ask, because I'm not too sure and I didn't see anything regarding that. Thanks!

There are certain "rare" placed blocks that can be griefed outside of towns and spawn. Those are diamond blocks, emerald blocks, cracked stone brick, and mossy stone bricks.
