Would a sort of portal skill be possible? Where the first activation puts down a portal (Portal block) on the block you are standing on and for 2-3 mins you can reuse the skill to teleport back to that block, as many times as you want. (reactivation has a 10-15 second cd) reactivation would probably need a range based on distance to portal.)
This has many more strategical uses, while not giving runeblades another gap closer. (although in the right situation this could be used as a gap closer.)
