rare blocks

now i know that there's a thread on here that shows what blocks are considered rare and people are able to steal, but i cant seem to find it, i was wondering if we could get a pinned thread on this made that way it doesn't get buried under all the other threads?

It's all in the wiki, actually:

You may not destroy other player's houses/structures in a town or in the wilderness.

• This rule does not apply to rare blocks - (Diamond Blocks, Gold Blocks, Iron Blocks, Lapis Lazuli Blocks)

But to expound on that rule, you can't steal blocks from an official town, right?
And it would be nice to have Kain post somewhere whether or not pumpkins are rare, because every time someone asks in /ch h, I hear a different answer.

They are not on the list so officially they are not, even though I have heard Admins say they are. Not sure either.

But yes, you CANNOT steal PLACED blocks from and OFFICIAL town. You cannot break any blocks in an official town, even if the region is not there. Wanna break a wall to get into a house? Too bad, when it becomes official you can no longer break to get in. Gotta find security flaws.

However you can kill anyone you want anywhere but Zeal and steal anything from a chest/furnace/dispenser anywhere you want except Zeal.

Yeah, so you can't place your pumpkins because you never know if the admins/mods online are gonna side with you or the thief. So join a town and build your house there.

Taking Rare blocks from a Township is illegal; why wouldn't that rule apply to everyone?
