Both track and deathmark should be either above level 20 for your combat class instead of level 30 or it should be level 30 but your profession class should count even if you are below 30 on your combat class.

Well just putting another side note it used to be 20 on all maps and now its 30 but the diamond castle also has a requirement only for level 20 and above so it kinda would make more sense to go with the 1st option, but the 2nd one is just as viable

Another option, you cannot bounty players below 30 and once you pass 30 once, even if you swap, you are free game to be tracked.

This is also a good way to do it as most players who max or get above 30 in a combat class or somewhat capable of protecting themselves even if they do switch to a lvl 1 combat class

With how our system works, I don't such a flag is possible.

In actual suggestion-ing, why not up the capture level to 30?

That would be hindering the pvp that is already almost non-existent at all. The only reason I would want it lowered is to increase global pvp around the map

If you want it for that purpose, suggest it for that purpose.

This says nothing about "increasing global pvp", just that they're inconsistent.

I don't think tracking is the reason for the lack of global pvp, I think the largest contributing factor is the ability for everyone on the server to easily teleport to spawn for next to nothing on a fairly short cooldown.

TBH warp is the biggest problem regarding world pvp closely followed by everyone being cooped up in their towns.

Oh I know that tracking isnt the lack of pvp im just saying it would increase player to player interactions more often as it would cause more people to run around

Exactly this. It was even worse last map. We need to remove warp all together. Bring back the wizard gtp market, runestone market, and make port worth a damn.

Because spawn is easy to access, so are the castles. Pvp only happens on the border of safe zones so new players who don't know what they are doing get ganked with no chance of winning. Consenting pvp at castle safe zone borders (which this map is only diamond, not all. Thankfully) gaurentee the loser will get their items back unless they die in a campable spot. Nothing about this is right.

I tried convincing Kainzo to increase warp's cooldown back to 24 hours (It used to be 24 hours for every non-crafter) and I was called insane.

I think crafters having warp is perfectly fine - its just that as a specced profession I can warp to spawn on a five minute cooldown for only 3 redstone blocks. I remember in previous maps I would have to run hundreds of blocks to get back to a herogate or to spawn, and would often encounter random people on my way. I'm definitely in favor of removing warp for professions or massively increasing the cost/cooldown.

I don't see how that is outlandish because when I was still staff even newbies had an 8 hour cooldown on warp and old players just had to suck it up and pay for wizard ports to spawn lol.

I honestly don't see what was wrong with that system. Though I wouldn't really care if crafters cooldown was lower because new players need a little bit of hand holding if they get stuck.

Why must you hurt me?

But in all seriousness, I argued that it made Herogates worth it, Wizards profitable, and kept part of the risk of going to spawn, you couldn't always port. Now it's like using recall, it's far too short IMO.

To be honest I don't think it would since most people are usually boxed up rather than out in the world. I've attempted to go tracking people down recently and just about everyone was boxed up in their town or in spawn.
