Knowing how Mojang balances stuff (They don't) this is going to be fun to have, but a pain to make it work with Heroes.

For shame! Ranger is already the most OP class in the server as far as per-hit DPS goes. With fancy new arrows that do god knows what this is going to be insane. #rangerapocalypse?

Interesting.. I thought they left the quiver idea behind but looks like that's false.

Some more information has come out about the shield slot....

It's actually known as the Off-hand slot, where any item can be put to use along with a tool. Right click uses this offhand item, whether it be a shield or potion. DB has stated that you can put a stack of torches in and place torches while digging with a pickaxe. Will be very handy.
