Well at the moment the Ranger class is a rather weak class in all honesty. I'm not asking for more combat skills, but I think to fit the Ranger scheme of things, I think a sort of speed buff or jump boost (but we already have grappling hook) would fit a Ranger's mobility well and help balance it a little more.

Ranger is a great class! But, (Repeat after me) NEVER EVER FIGHT A PALADIN! They have like 72% armor and your arrows will only do like 50 dmg.

The fact that a Rangers' melee hurts like hell tells you the current state of them. If anything they need a melee nerf, not a buff of any sort.

Ranger does 61 dmg with their axe, which is slightly higher than warriors. Paladin and Dreadknight both do 57 while Dragoon and Samurai do 78 and 89 respectively. Considering their bow dmg was nerfed to 180 when when it was originally 220 ( Could reach up to 240) I don't see their melee dmg as OP.

Why does everyone make it look like I'm angry with the ranger changes? I simply stated facts and said I LIKED how it is now.

Also, if you thought the old ranger took skill, two words. Ice arrow.

I never called you angry. I can see your point with IceArrow, but at least you needed to land the original IceArrow, requiring precision.
Well you could have always used arrow storm.

Ranger bow dmg'd needed that nerf. Lvl 1 Rangers were doing 200+ damage with standard arrow shots. Currently, they are half-melee/half-ranged, which means the only primary ranged classes are all casters : /. They are more balanced now, but those that like to focus purely on ranged combat will sadly find themselves leaving the Rogue tree.

The difference is, before the Ranger re-work, a Ranger NEEDED a perfect shot. With tools such as Aimedshot, Multishot, Explosiveshot, they're now able to point and click instead of using precision.

If you're in the middle of combat AimedShot doesn't do much good because you need to warm up to use it. Plus (from personal experience this may have just been user error I'm not sure) I have found that you have to have had that person inflict damage on you before you can use AimedShot
