Question on Mod Pack

I tried my best to install the mod pack for this server but it just couldn't work out, i'm wondering what benefits you can get out of this mod? I'm sorry about asking this question when i could just look into it more but help is appreciated

The modpack itself is not up to date yet, and so will not work with the Server. There are individual mods available to download and install separately though.
