I think that the quests should get harder as you level up, so my suggestions are in order from low-level quests to high-level ones.
Join the battle, (kill another player) reward: 100xp
Traverse the land, (walk for 500 blocks) reward:100xp
Tree puncher, (get wood using your fist) reward: 100xp
Mob hunter, (slay 5 spiders, 5 skeletons and 5 zombies) reward: 200xp
Start a war, (kill 10 players) reward: 200xp
Go for a swim, (travel 200 blocks in water) reward: 200xp
Decimate, (kill 30 players) reward: 300xp
Out of this world, (travel to the nether) reward: 300xp
Advanced miner, (mine 5 gold ore, 10 lapis lazuli and 5 diamonds) reward: 300xp
Slime slayer, (kill a slime) reward: 300xp
