Bug Pyromancer FireBlast skill not functioning correctly(?)

The skill fireblast creates a relatively large explosion, yet it only hits one enemy. I'm not 100% sure whether this is intended (description says an enemy within the blast will get hit) or not, but it definitely seems odd to me. Definitely seems like it should work as an AoE skill.

iirc this is the way it was intended to work.

It will hit 1 enemy within range.
